Sims 4 player created in-game characters based on the fearsome tiefling race from the tabletop RPG Dungeons & Dragons. For Sims 4 players, recreating characters from pop culture and gaming is a popular pastime – the game has a very active creative community, with many fans sharing their creations online. Since its release in 2014, The Sims 4 has sold over 36 million copies worldwide.

In The Sims 4, players have a huge amount of options when it comes to designing their characters. They have control over everything from body shape and facial features to their Sim’s outfits and accessories. However, depending on the vision players have for their character, it can sometimes be difficult to design their Sim utilizing only what The Sims 4 has to offer. This can be remedied by downloading custom content for The Sims 4 – custom content creators make things like new hairstyles, clothing, and makeup designs that are available for download. Much like The Sims, the popular tabletop RPG Dungeons & Dragons gives players many options when it comes to creating their characters. One of the primary choices is race, which will determine part of a character’s history and abilities. The tiefling race has one of the darkest backgrounds: they carry an infernal bloodline that gives them a terrifying appearance, with all tieflings having large horns and a tail.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Reddit user Cyber-Goblin created two tiefling characters in The Sims 4 with incredible accuracy. Their photo features two strikingly different female tieflings posing together and smiling, a decidedly different mood than that of the typically outcast tiefling race in D&D who are often shunned for their appearance. The Sim on the left has a normal skin tone, while her companion is colored a deep red. The light and dark contrast extends to their horns and tails as well – the left Sim’s horns and tail are a pale pink, while the other has black horns and a tail that matches their wine-red skin.

These two tiefling Sims are an amazing crossover between The Sims 4 and D&D, giving a new twist to how the race usually exists in-game. The idea of two tieflings happily posing for a selfie together is both humorous and delightful, and gives a sunny new perspective on a race that is typically considered something to be feared. The player’s creation is also a testament to the vast array of Sims 4 custom content that is created by the game’s community. Fans have access to an expansive array of content they can use to make narratives within their game and design things exactly how they’d like.

These strangely adorable characters are a great tribute to Dungeons & Dragons, and puts a very unique spin on the tiefling race. It wouldn’t have been possible to make these characters without the Sims 4 creative community, who provide millions of players with new content. While The Sims 4 has been out for over 7 years and hasn’t received a full expansion pack since the summer of 2021, creative players and content creators alike help keep players interested.
