The Fristad Rock Spy Room is one of the more subversive puzzles in Deathloop because of its complicated, three-code lock. Colt will need to open three separate doors using three separate codes to find the code for this door, but it is well worth the effort. The three-code door unlocks the Spy Archives, which can give Colt access to more lore, intel they have on him, information about the plot, possible rare weapons or trinkets, and several codes that can open doors and disable security protocols later in the loop.

Obviously, to be able to open the Spy Archives door in Deathloop, players have to have located it. Similar to the Pact of Smoke doors in Deathloop, a bit of adventuring has to be done in order to find this three-lock door and other side objectives. There are three other locked doors found around the map that contain part of the code for the Spy Archives door, and Colt will need to find and open all three other doors to access it.

To figure out how to open each locked door and get the required codes to open the Spy Archives door in Deathloop, Colt will need to hack any radio in the morning. After doing so, players will hear three unique codes transmitted and should jot them down. They can turn subtitles on to make them easier to catch. There are three separate codes, each of them including one letter-number combo and one isolated number.

How to Open the 3-Code Door in Fristad Rock Spy Room in Deathloop

The three codes Colt will hear over a hacked radio in Deathloop will contain the same letter-number combinations, but the random, isolated numbers change per playthrough. The letter-number combo refers to the location of one of the doors, which will always be a Spy Post, and the number refers to the number of times that door’s bell must be hit in order to unlock it. So, for example, M13 11 would tell Colt to go to the M13 location and press the buzzer 11 times.

Here are the Spy Post locations that each code corresponds to:

  • M13: Karl’s Bay, the red building directly to the left of Harriet’s Hangars, behind the giant BBQ.
  • R33: Fristad Rock, in the boarded-up bunker near the entrance of the tunnel.
  • H26: Updaam (Morning), in the apartment hallway to the left of Otto’s Workshop (before it burns down).

After getting the codes in the morning, Colt will need to make sure to hit every location by the end of the day.

Each locked room will contain a three-digit code that can be input in the complicated lock to unlock Fristad Rock’s Spy Archives. These codes don’t change regardless of loop resets, so the doors can be opened in any order. However, it is best to input the codes on the Spy Archives door in the order players heard the codes for the Spy Post doors over the radio. So, if Colt heard the codes in the order above, he would need to input the code from the Karl’s Bay Spy Post first, then the one in Fristad Rock, and finally the one in Updaam.
