Deathloop: The Best Trinkets for Each Gun (& Where to Find Them)

Deathloop has a variety of weapons and trinkets that can be optimized for combat. Enhancing weapons with powerful trinkets will allow players to reach one of Deathloop‘s endings more easily. Throughout the game, players will obtain Crude, Sleek, and Exemplar trinkets for their weapons and characters.

Trinkets are found all over Deathloop, and they can also be awarded for completing missions or taking out Visionaries. Unlike the many outfits in Deathloop, which are only cosmetic, trinkets work as boosters for certain stats for either weapons or playable characters. Players will want to find Exemplar trinkets for the best possible boosts.

To earn weapon trinkets in Deathloop, players will need to complete challenges, kill enemies, and find them in hidden places around the Isle of Blackreef. Since the trinkets do different things, and weapons are diverse in stats and usage, each gun has a trinket that is best for it. Determining which one to use can take some trial and error, but equipping the best possible trinket will greatly reduce the difficulty and time it takes to beat Deathloop.

The Best Trinkets for Every Gun in Deathloop

Deathloop has unique weapons like Egor’s Rapiér, as well as handguns, shotguns, rifles, and SMGs. There are a total of twelve different guns in the game and fourteen different trinkets to choose from. With all the possible combinations, it can be difficult to determine which trinket to put on which weapon. The best gun and trinket combinations are as follows:

Finding these trinkets can take some time because a lot of the drops in Deathloop are random. They can be picked up when an enemy dies, as rewards for challenges, or just found on the ground. The tougher the enemy, or more hidden the spot, the higher the quality of the trinket will be. As players progress through the story, they will receive Exemplar trinkets more often.

Using these combinations will help players break the loop and win the game. Depending on the rarity, guns can hold up to three trinkets, so it’s recommended that players add two more to each gun that can hold them. Creating a well-rounded, powerful character will give players an advantage over the Visionaires around Blackreef. Deathloop‘s weapon trinkets can be coupled with character trinkets to bring Colt up to his top build.
