To unlock the new Ager’s Scepter Trace Rifle in Destiny 2, players must complete the Hollow Coronation Exotic quest. Ager’s Scepter is the first Stasis Exotic Trace Rifle in Destiny 2, and one of two new Exotic weapons introduced in Season of the Lost. In addition to finding a final round of Atlas Skews, more steps will be involved to complete this quest.

Before starting Hollow Coronation, players must be sure to complete all three Tracing the Stars quests. Hollow Coronation is a quest that will need to be grabbed from the Wayfinder’s Compass in the HELM, but it won’t be available until after the other three quests are completed. Once obtained, Guardians must speak with Mara Sov and head to the Dreaming City for one final Atlas Skew hunt.

Players can begin the final hunt for the Atlas Skews in the Dreaming City. They’ll need to head to the Harbinger Cathedral through the Harbinger’s Seclude. At the bottom floor of Harbinger’s Seclude and to the right is an opening to a cavern with a Taken portal. Going inside the portal will lead to the Harbinger’s Cathedral.

How to Complete the Hollow Coronation Quest in Destiny 2

The five Atlas Skews are scattered through the Harbinger Cathedral, Confluence, and the Garden Entry. After grabbing the Atlas Skew in the Harbinger Cathedral head towards the center Confluence room that leads to three other rooms. There are three other doorways in the Center Confluence room, and each of them has an Atlas Skew. These rooms are marked by a giant crystal, a verdant tree, and a portal covered in Taken trees. From the verdant tree, Guardians should follow the hallway until reaching the next Taken portal – the final Atlas Skew is across from it.

Like the Tracing the Stars quests, the next step of Hollow Coronation will be listening to the final Uldren Sov recording in the HELM. Before Guardians can unlock and use Ager’s Scepter, they will need to complete a few rounds of Astral Alignment and some strikes. These are the next quest steps and their details:

  • Parallax Trajectory and Rifle Kills – Gather Parallax Trajectory from any activity, and get kills with any weapon with “Rifle” in it.
  • Astral Alignment Champions and Supers – Defeat Champions and enemies with Supers in Astral Alignment
  • Collect Strands of Nobility – Complete the Lake of Shadows Strike, The Disgraced Strike, and The Glassway Strike

Once these quests are complete, Guardians must return to Mara Sov to acquire the Noble Seal, enter the Hollow Coronation mission in the HELM for a final time, and claim the Ager’s Scepter.
