Destiny 2: How to Get Piece of Mind (& God Roll)

The Witch Queen expansion for Destiny 2 has introduced 40+ new weapons, and players are finally getting a feel for which ones are standing out. One particular group of new weapons that have been standing out since the expansion’s release have been the seasonal weapons obtained from the Psi-Ops Battlegrounds activity in the Helm. However, the new pulse rifle, Piece of Mind, has been the most popular among guardians out of all these weapons. The Piece of Mind is part of the best pulse rifle archetype in the game with its rapid-fire frame, but its available traits and high stability make this weapon a step above all of the others in its class.

In order to get this weapon, players will be in for a bit of a grind. Players will have to rank up to at least level 45 in season 16’s battle pass to get their first roll of the Piece of Mind pulse rifle. This can be quickly accomplished by completing Season of the Risen’s Challenges in Destiny 2, which awards large amounts of XP upon completion. After unlocking the weapon through the battle pass, players will be able to get random rolls of the weapon through completions of Psi-Ops Battlegrounds and opening the activities chests at the end. Additionally, after ranking up enough with Saladin in the Helm, players will unlock the ability to focus their Umbral Engrams into random rolls of the Piece of Mind from the Helm.

Players can also unlock the Piece of Mind for crafting at the Relic on Mars after getting two versions of the weapon to drop with Deepsight Reconnaissance. Unfortunately, players won’t be able to put the best perks on the weapon straight out of the gate with Destiny 2‘s weapon crafting. Instead, players will have to level up the crafted Piece of Mind the same way they did to extract the weapons patterns for the Relic. Once the weapon is level 14, they will have access to all its traits in the Relic like Perpetual Motion, Overflow, and Adrenaline Junkie.

Piece of Mind God Rolls in Destiny 2

PvE God Roll:

• Barrel- Smallbore or Arrowhead Brake.
• Magazine- Tactical Mag.
• Trait 1- Overflow or Stats For All.
• Trait 2- Harmony, Adrenaline Junkie, or Focused Fury.

PvP God Roll:

• Barrel- Smallbore.
• Magazine- High-Caliber Rounds or Ricochet Rounds.
• Trait 1- Perpetual Motion.
• Trait 2- Moving Target or Harmony.

The Piece of Mind is one of the best primary weapons in Destiny 2 that players can use in both PvE and PvP inside of Destiny 2. Versions of this weapon with Perpetual Motion/Overflow and Harmony can seamlessly be taken into PvE or PvP activities without worrying about switching weapons. The Piece of Mind is easily the best non-exotic pulse rifle in Destiny 2 right now, and players should try to get their god rolls as soon as possible.
