Destiny 2Season of the Splicer has brought plenty of new weapons for players to test their skillset in the Crucible, but unique to its arsenal are the weapons of Iron Banner. Iron Banner is run by Lord Saladin, and it’s a game mode in Crucible that is only around for a week each month. Unlike normal Crucible matches, Iron Banner does rely upon a player’s Light Level to determine their raw effectiveness in combat. The lower the player’s Light Level, the harder time they’ll have challenging opponents who have been grinding for a while.

Iron Banner has plenty of rewards for players to earn, including armor and weapons that are only available through the Iron Banner tokens. Iron Banner tokens can be earned by winning matches, a few less for losing, or by completing the bounties available for purchase from Lord Saladin. While Lord Saladin does offer a six-step quest to complete as well, Iron Banner tokens are not available here. However, he does allow players to unlock some Iron Banner weapons, like the Finite Impactor Hand Cannon, through progress completion.

Destiny 2: How to Get the Finite Impactor Hand Cannon (& God Roll)

Much like the Destiny 2 Riiswalker Shotgun, players have a guaranteed way of earning the Finite Impactor through Iron-Handed Diplomacy – the quest available from Lord Saladin. Finite Impactor is a 140 RPM Hand Cannon that can be equipped in a player’s Energy Weapon slot. It is an Adaptive Frame Hand Cannon, meaning its well-rounded grip (handling, stability, and reload stats) makes it typically easier to control. Its impact is 84, putting it on par with damage from 140 RPM Exotic Hand Cannons like Thorn and Ace of Spades – and even above Hawkmoon.

There are plenty of perks available to Finite Impactor, but these are the optimal perks worth shooting for:

Legendary Sight

  • Truesight HCS (PvE)
  • Sureshot HCS (PvP)

Legendary Magazine

  • High-Caliber Rounds (PvP/PvE)
  • Richochet Rounds (PvP/PvE)
  • Armor-Piercing Rounds (Pve)
  • Appended Mag (PvP)

Legendary Trait 1

  • Slideways (PvP/PvE)

Legendary Trait 2

  • One For All (PvE)
  • Iron Reach (PvP)
  • Multikill Clip (PvP

Finite Impactor, luckily, is easy to acquire. Completing the first step of Iron-Handed Diplomacy guarantees every player at least one Finite Impactor Hand Cannon. To do this, players will need to capture 10 zones, get 10 Arc or Void ability final blows, and defeat 30 Guardians – all in Iron Banner. This method doesn’t guarantee a Destiny 2 God Roll Finite Impactor. For that, players will have to continuously grind for Iron Banner tokens and cash them in by speaking to Lord Saladin. The good news is that four wins will provide enough Iron Banner tokens in order to hit the minimum tokens to redeem a reward, and Iron Banner will return once more before the Season of the Splicer is over.

Destiny 2 is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, and Google Stadia platforms.
