Flourish of Power requires Guardians to get 50 kills with their Super abilities in the Crucble’s Mayhem game mode in Destiny 2Season of the Chosen. While that number may seem daunting to those who are not huge fans of the Crucible, there is an easy way for those playing as Hunters to accomplish this particular Week One Challenge. The key is to use a build centered around the Blade Barrage tree of the Solar subclass.

Notorious for wiping out groups of enemies with ease, the Hunters’ Blade Barrage tree is as aesthetically pleasing as it is vicious. However, the most appealing aspect of the tree is the ease with which Hunters can generate super energy with it. With appropriate mods and the Shards of Galanor exotic gauntlets, Hunters will find this season’s Flourish of Power Week One challenge is extraordinarily easy to complete.

How to Complete Flourish of Power (The Fast Way) as a Hunter in Destiny 2

The Blade Barrage tree for the Hunters’ Solar subclass has a specific build that is monstrous for the Crucible’s Mayhem mode in Destiny 2. To start out, Guardians will want to ensure they are using the Shards of Galanor exotic gauntlets to refund a portion of their Super energy based on how many of their blades hit a target when Blade Barrage is activated. With Battlegrounds and several waves of enemies to destroy, these gauntlets and Blade Barrage builds are even more useful in Season of the Chosen.

Combine that with a Void energy helmet slotted with two Dynamo mods (reduces Super cooldown when using class ability near enemies) and a Precision Charge mod, and Hunters are already set up for some devastation in the Mayhem game mode. Moreover, slotting a Void class item, or Hunter cloak, with an Energy Converter mod, Distribution mod, and a minor Intellect mod will result in a much swifter Super meter charge time.

With the added benefit of Mayhem’s decreased Super ability cooldown, the build above will provide an instant Super refund if hitting even just one enemy with the full force of Blade Barrage. The result is a constant flurry of Blade Barrages from a single Hunter, thereby giving players the ability to finish the Flourish of Power challenge in a few short matches. The build establishes so much entertainment that Mayhem may become one of the preferred game modes for many Hunters out there, because while the class still doesn’t get an overshield with their Super ability, they won’t need one due to the expediency with which they can regain their Super and annihilate opposing Guardians.

Destiny 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
