Disney has created some incredibly iconic characters throughout its history, but few are able to come close to the Disney Princesses. These stories are some of Disney’s very best movies, and the characters are certainly a lot of fun, with their engaging backstories and their journeys often being very thrilling.

They become characters that people aspire to be like when they’re growing up, and a big reason for that is the style that they showcase. Whether it’s a gorgeous dress or a fantastic outfit before they reach their Princess status, there are plenty of great looks within the Disney Princess world.

10 Tiana (Princess And The Frog)

Considering the fact that Princess Tiana spends the vast majority of this movie as a frog, it’s hard to say that she has too much style. However, even when she is a frog, Tiana has a class about her with the way she carries herself, which really works out for her.

But prior to that, Tiana’s style is basically whatever she is doing in terms of work, and while Tiana doesn’t put all of her focus into her looks as her best friend does, Tiana still always looks classy. However, her big dress is one of the greatest of any Disney Princess, which certainly makes her stand out.

9 Cinderella (Cinderella)

Much like Princess Tiana, it’s hard to say that Cinderella has amazing style because a lot of the movie sees her dressed in cheap rags as she does all of the housework for her Wicked Stepmother. However, even in the rags Cinderella always has a clear style, which is taken to a new level with her iconic blue dress.

Cinderella gets to look the part within the movie and it really shows great style, which only continues at the end when she is with Prince Charming once again. It’s a great look, and Cinderella is one of the most famous Princesses because of it.

8 Mulan (Mulan)

Mulan has an incredible style, which is totally different from every other Disney Princess. Despite the fact that Mulan is actually trying to dress like a man throughout the movie, she is really able to make herself look stylish throughout.

Her battle gear looks excellent and really suits Mulan well, especially since she’s such a skilled fighter. However, even before she joins the army in her father’s place, Mulan showcases a great fashion sense, always looking very elegant. But it really is her clothing at the end of the movie that is Mulan at her best, as this is when she feels comfortable and that radiates off her.

7 Rapunzel (Tangled)

Rapunzel only showcases one outfit throughout Tangled, but it is one of the most iconic of all time. Her purple dress looks fantastic and really makes her stand out throughout the movie. Complementing her blonde hair, the purple dress has great details and really does make Rapunzel look like a Disney Princess before she even knows that she is.

Because Rapunzel is such an energetic and passionate soul, having such a warm color really works for that. Her style as a person is to be very creative, and this dress allows for all of that, as she’s able to run around freely and have as much energy as possible.

6 Jasmine (Aladdin)

Princess Jasmine is someone who has a fantastic style which she showcases with every outfit that she wears throughout the movie. Jasmine always looks classy and elegant, and because she starts the movie as a Princess, that allows her to have a real style already established.

Jasmine doesn’t have to work her way to a position of power, as she is already in one. She’s sassy and her attitude reflects that. Her confidence is shown the most when she’s in her red outfit, as she tricks Jafar by seducing him, and overall she just looks the part, which is why she’s such a fantastic character.

5 Moana (Moana)

Moana might not be given the over-the-top Princess dress at any point in her movie, but she does wear some stunning and vibrant outfits. Her style is full of energy and color, which really stands out in comparison to the other Princesses.

Moana’s outfits are always very practical, yet they always look fantastic at the same time. She has several different looks throughout the movie, and they all really stand out when she’s on-screen. Her style suits her age and allows for her to have the high energy, as she is often sprinting around.

4 Aurora (Sleeping Beauty)

Princess Aurora has some of the best outfits within Disney history, with her epic dresses being incredibly well known and a lot of fun to see throughout the movie. Her outfit when she lives in the woods with the fairies is understated for a reason, in order for her not to stand out, but even that looks stylish and sleek.

3 Anna (Frozen)

While she ends up no longer being a Disney Princess by the end of the sequel (becoming a Queen instead), in the original, Princess Anna shows herself to be someone with great style. There’s only so much that can be done with such a wintery movie, but Anna seems to have a different outfit for every occasion over the course of the two movies.

Anna always looks the part with colors that pop and suit the cold, being both practical and aesthetically pleasing. The bright colors work well for Anna because that style suits her personality, which is typically very positive and full of energy.

2 Ariel (The Little Mermaid)

It’s pretty hard to make being a mermaid something that is iconic or impressive, yet Ariel still manages to rock her style pretty impressively under the sea. She showcases her confidence and energetic behavior when swimming around and the style really does come from her attitude.

But while she enjoys being understated, when she gets to appear with the iconic yellow dress it really showcases Belle coming out of her shell and becoming more confident, with her style being an incredibly elegant one, which feels like a true Princess.
