In 2019, Double Shot at Love aired after best friend duo Vinny Guadagnino and DJ Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio Jr. teamed up for their own spinoff show, and it’s time to talk about DSAT season 3. The popular show followed Vinny and Pauly’s journeys as they looked for love. While they both left the first season of the show single, Pauly ultimately did find love through the reality series. He and his castmate Nikki Hall began dating following the show’s second season. Now, Pauly, Vinny, and Nikki are gearing up for an exciting season 3.

Back in April, MTV confirmed that Double Shot at Love season 3 got the green light. Since Pauly has already found love with Nikki, the show will be taking a different approach during the new season. While it will return to a dating format, similar to the format shown on Double Shot at Love season one, the show will focus solely on finding Vinny a girlfriend. Pauly, with the help of Nikki, will mentor Vinny throughout the process. They will be there to ensure that he finds his perfect match. Pauly and Nikki definitely have experience in the dating game.

Earlier this month, MTV released the official trailer for the new season, as well as a premiere date. Double Shot at Love season 3 will premiere on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at 9 p.m. EST. The show will take the place of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, as the current Family Vacation season will come to an end in two weeks. Vinny, Pauly, and Double Shot at Love star Nikki put their dancing and singing skills to the test for the old-fashioned, glam-themed trailer. When the first season of the show premiered, Vinny and Pauly dated the same group of women. Now, Vinny from Double Shot at Love will have 16 women to choose from, without having to fight his best friend for them. Vinny, Pauly, and Nikki all flew to Arizona in May to film the new season of the show. Similar to how the cast has been filming recent group getaways for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, the new season of Double Shot at Love was also filmed in a COVID-19 bubble.

Some of Vinny and Pauly’s longtime Jersey Shore roommates will be making guest appearances in the new season as well. Ronnie Ortiz Magro was set to make an appearance alongside Vinny’s Uncle Nino. However, the trip was canceled as Ronnie was arrested in April on domestic violence charges. It is unclear if Uncle Nino flew to Arizona without Ronnie or not. Reality star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “JWoww” Farley flew to the private resort to film cameo appearances together. While filming for Double Shot At Love season 3 wrapped a while ago, fans still don’t know if Vinny found love on the show. If he did, he and his new girlfriend have been doing a good job of keeping their romance low-key until the new Double Shot at Love season premieres.
