Double Shot at Love: Is Derynn Paige Still Dating Pretty Ricky?

During the second season of Double Shot at Love, Derynn Paige and Pretty Ricky started a relationship together. Fans are wondering if the couple has managed to keep their relationship alive after the show ended. 

The first and second season of Double Shot at Love were very different. In the first season, contestants were welcomed to a gorgeous mansion under the pretenses that they would be competing for an unknown bachelor’s heart. The competitors were surprised to find out that there were actually two bachelors, Pauly DelVecchio Jr. and Vinny Guadagnino. The first season was about the large group of women’s journey to compete for a shot at love with one of the Jersey Shore alumni. On the other hand, the second season wasn’t as competitive in nature. Instead, the same cast from season one was brought back. The only new cast members were men, one of which was Pauly D and Vinny’s friend, Dustin Drai. The ex-girlfriends and new cast members all lived under the same lavish roof in Las Vegas for the duration of the second season. By the end of the show, some of the cast members found love. 

When Derynn and Pretty Ricky first hung out together, they didn’t exactly get off on the right foot. Paige met Pretty Ricky during a night out and they had great chemistry together. At the end of the night, Derynn invited Pretty Ricky to come home with her. Unfortunately, the R&B artist had difficulty performing in the bedroom. After he left for the evening, Paige broke down in front of her roommates and expressed that she was frustrated with being unable to break her “dry spell.”

Thankfully, Derynn got a second shot at love with Pretty Ricky. They went on a date together on the Las Vegas strip and opened up about their past relationships. Paige mentioned that she hoped to be married by 25, but wasn’t able to because her ex-boyfriend had cheated on her. Pretty Ricky fell for Paige after their heart to heart talk and asked if she would be interested in a long distance relationship with him. He ensured Paige wouldn’t have to worry about his fidelity, despite the nature of their budding relationship, and she agreed. At the end of the show, Pretty Ricky asked Derynn to be his girlfriend and she said yes. 

While Double Shot at Love was airing, Derynn and Pretty Ricky were constantly flirty with each other on social media. Even after the show finished, the hip hop musician always expresses his affection for Paige by telling her how beautiful he thinks she is on her posts. They haven’t explicitly stated that they’re still together, but their social media activity speaks volumes. On September 17th, Derynn tweeted, “I got the real double shot at love.” Many of Paige’s followers replied to the tweet with comments such as, “Finally y’all get together!!!” and “You and Ricky are the best couple there. No pettiness. No drama. Just good vibes and good times.” 

Even though Derynn and Pretty Ricky haven’t publicly confirmed that they’re still together, their social media activity says it all. Most couples don’t flirt over social media unless they’re going strong. Although, after witnessing their relationship bloom on the second season of Double Shot at Love, fans are dying to see more from Pretty Ricky and Derynn.
