Duck Dynasty Star Bella Robertson Marries Jacob Mayo

Another Duck Dynasty cast member and the youngest of the Robertson daughters is officially off the market, after tying the knot with her boyfriend Jacob Mayo in a beautiful ceremony. Bella began appearing on Duck Dynasty when she was just a kid and has grown up in front of the show’s audience. This has been a big year for Bella. She and her brother Rowdy graduated from high school and started their lives in the real world. She also became an auntie to two new baby girls, Ella and Honey. Just before 2020 came to an end, her boyfriend Jacob found a way to end the year on a high. The pair got engaged in November 2020, adding another reason as to why 2020 will forever be an unforgettable year.

The couple announced their engagement on Instagram, with both of them expressing how happy they are to be taking this next step in life with each other. Bella kept everyone updated on every aspect of wedding planning, from picking the right dress, to the many pre-wedding events her family threw for her. While most fans were supportive of her engagement, some people thought she was too young to get married. Critics were especially worried because the pair had only dated for six months prior to getting engaged. Bella clapped back at naysayers by saying they have been friends for years and know each other really well. She added that their relationship started in quarantine and they were together all the time. In regards to her age, Bella says both her parents and her brother also got married at 18, and it worked out for them.

Bella and Jacob both took to Instagram over the weekend to announce how happy they are to have finally gotten married. As Page Six reports, their wedding took place Saturday, June 5 in West Monroe, Louisiana in front of their family and friends. Bella posted one photo of her in her wedding dress with Mayo kissing her forehead, captioning it #marrymemayo. In another post with a few photos documenting the night, fans got to see just how much these two love each other, as Bella called it the best night in her life. Jacob posted his own set of photos, formally introducing him and his wife as Mr. and Mrs. for the first time.

The comments section of their Instagram posts were filled with nothing but happy thoughts and well wishes for the couple from fans. Many opted to comment with simple heart emojis, while others claimed to love the couple so much. A majority of the fans commented on how cute the couple is, calling them couple goals, and sending them big congratulations. One fan noted how happy Bella looked, claiming she was glowing, even going as far as calling the whole affair the marriage of the year. There were some famous faces in the comments as well, with Full House star Candace Cameron Bure commenting her congratulations, and calling the bride gorgeous.

The next big step the couple has left to take is having a baby. It will be interesting to see whether or not Bella chooses to become a young mom, like her brother and sisters, or if she will wait a while before having her first child. She has three little nieces and nephews to love on for now and as shown on Duck Dynasty, she also has a whole bunch of cousins to help fill that void while she and Jacob take their time making that decision.
