DWTS: Daniella Karagach Admits She Trusts Iman Shumpert With Her Life

Iman Shumpert’s pro dance partner on Dancing With The Stars, Daniella Karagach, admits she trusts him with her life after he effortlessly tossed, carried, and balanced her during their “Horror Night” performance. The dance duo has won the admiration of many fans with their awe-inspiring performances on season 30 of DWTS. However, they took their dancing a notch higher with their perfect display on Monday’s “Horror Night” by delivering a contemporary routine inspired by the thriller Us. Iman and Daniella took to the stage wearing red jumpsuits and danced to Luniz and Michael Marshall’s “I Got 5 on It (Tethered Mix),” a song most associated with Us. 

During the incredible performance, Iman and Daniella held the judges, audience, and viewers spellbound with their display of acrobatics and athleticism, characterized by the basketballer’s effortless tossing, carrying, and balancing of his pro dance partner. The dance duo’s lovely performance impressed all the judges, who handed them a perfect score of 10, giving them their highest score of the season. Iman and Daniella also became the second couple to achieve a perfect score this season. One of the judges, Carrie Ann Inaba, confessed that her mind was blown and described their performance as sheer perfection. Inaba’s feelings would be shared by many people due to the scary ways and the number of times Iman lifted Karagach.

Despite the scary nature of those lifts, Daniella says she has never been afraid Iman will drop her. After Monday night’s show, the dance pro spoke to HollywoodLife and other reporters and expressed total confidence in Iman. She said, “He will never let me fall, no matter what! Never will let me fall.” Iman echoed his dance partner’s feelings by saying, “The lifts… I got her.” The DWTS pro dancer also revealed how much she trusts Iman, saying, “I trust him with my life.” Iman concluded by saying that Daniella knows if she was about to fall, he’s got her. He added that they would figure it out if such a situation arose.

After a thrilling performance, Daniella took to her Instagram page to pay tribute to Iman. In her post, Daniella shared pictures from their performance and wrote that it is difficult to ask a celebrity who has never danced to learn a contemporary and then teach him all the moves. She also wrote, “But for @imanshumpert to learn the dance, commit to the movement, listen to instruction, perform barefoot after all his body has been through in his career and perform the dance effortlessly and in character is a whole nother level.” Daniella said she is lucky to have Iman as a partner and thanked him for inspiring her and making her job as his coach exciting and joyful.

There is no doubt that dancing couple Iman and Daniella have undeniable chemistry, and it has helped them get this far in their DWTS Season 30 journey. The duo trusts each other and is ever ready to put up mind-blowing and impressive displays. So far, Iman has shown an admirable attitude, and Daniella’s appreciation post to him shows how much work he has put in to get this far. Together, Iman and Daniella look like a solid duo who may just go all the way to the finals if they continue at this pace. The other contestants may have something to say about that, though. Only time will tell who will come out tops in this season of Dancing With The Stars.
