DWTS: Derek Hough & Hayley Erbert Share Las Vegas Show Update

Dancing With The Stars judge Derek Hough and his girlfriend, Hayley Erbert, celebrated good news about their Las Vegas show. Derek is a DWTS veteran-turned-judge, and Hayley was a part of the dance troupe on the show. The couple, who competed separately on the show, began dating in 2015. They officially met when Derek’s sister and professional dancer Julianne Hough cast Hayley in her 2014 Move tour. They have been going strong since then, and Derek and Hayley even danced together on the DWTS season 30 “Horror Night” episode.

While the pandemic has been a change of pace for everyone, it had a silver lining for Derek and Hayley. The couple began cooking together in quarantine. While Derek admitted that Hayley is the more experienced cook, he has been learning and is looking forward to seeing his family’s reaction to the Thanksgiving meal he’s planning to cook. The time spent learning the skill of cooking together has brought the couple closer. With both Derek and Hayley being dancers, Derek finds joy in the creation of something they can then enjoy. Being in the entertainment industry can come with a hectic schedule, so it’s nice that Derek and Hayley were brought closer by having more time to spend together.

Derek shared an Instagram post updating fans on the sold-out state of his show, Derek Hough: No Limit. “SOLD OUT! Wow! All the shows this week are already sold out!” Derek captioned his post. “Thank you all so much! NO LIMIT.” The photo showed Derek and Hayley in a dance pose at the Venetian Las Vegas Casino, Hotel and Resort. Derek’s former DWTS partner and Paralympian Amy Purdy commented, “Congrats my friend! No surprise! It’s the best show in Vegas!” Sasha Farber, who’s a pro dancer on DWTS, gave a simple, “Congrats.“

Derek’s famous friends weren’t the only ones to hype up his show’s success. His fans are also excited for him, commenting, “I am not even surprised that show is so good.” Another fan said, “Well done you two, so deserved.” Between Derek’s judging position on DWTS and his tour, he definitely has a packed schedule. His Las Vegas show runs from Wednesday to Sunday every week, and DWTS films in Los Angeles.

It’s actually a positive that Derek and Hayley got to spend so much time together during the pandemic, seeing as how crazy their work schedules are now. Both former DWTS contestants and fans alike are excited about the couple’s success. Even though both the tour and the show are a lot to take on, it looks like Derek and Hayley are happy to be doing so well in their careers.
