Professional dancer Keo Motsepe is disappointed he wasn’t picked to be in the Dancing With The Stars season 30 cast. Keo first joined DWTS all the way back in 2012. Last year, he was partnered with actress Anne Heche. Unfortunately, the duo was the third couple to be eliminated from the competition.

In July 2021, ABC announced the premiere date for Dancing With The Stars season 30. The milestone season is set to kick off on Monday, September 20, 2021, but details on the new season have remained vague. Alas, there have been numerous rumors surrounding this season’s cast. Fans have also been making their own predictions of who will be competing in the ballroom this fall. Even though a few stars have in fact been confirmed, ABC has yet to announce the entire cast as well as who the stars will be partnered with this fall.

With the premiere date being just a few weeks away, the full cast list, including the dancing duos, is set to be announced sometime soon. As fans anxiously await the announcement, they’ve already received a sneak peek into the season. Last week, ABC announced the list of professional dancers in the DWTS season 30 cast earlier this month. Of note, Keo was missing from the official cast list. Following the announcement, the dancer told Us Weekly that he is disappointed to not be dancing on the show for season 30. This would have been Keo’s 10th consecutive season on the show. He explained, “While it’s disappointing to not be back for season 30, I’ve been honored to be on the last nine seasons of the show and look forward to returning in the future.”

While Keo is in fact upset that he won’t be joining his dancing friends in the ballroom this year, he’s still excited for all of the professional dancers who have been cast. He exclaimed, “There’s a great group this season and I wish all the dancers and the show the best of luck!” In spite of not returning for Dancing With The Stars season 30, Keo has other things planned for the fall. He teased some “exciting opportunities” that he’s currently working on. Prior to Keo opening up about not being cast this year, his fellow professional dancer Lindsay Arnold reached out to him to share her love. Lindsay, along with Witney Carson, will both be returning for DWTS season 30 after taking last season off from the show due to their pregnancies.

Many of the professional dancers have revealed in the past that they don’t know if they’ll be on a season until just a few weeks prior to the premiere. In the past, some professional dancers have taken a few seasons off before returning to the ballroom. Perhaps Keo will return to Dancing With The Stars for a future season.
