Elden Ring: Where To Find The Valkyrie’s Prosthesis For Millicent

Valkyrie’s Prosthesis is a quest item in Elden Ring required to progress Millicent’s questline once Tarnished have cured her of Scarlet Rot. After speaking with Millicent and Gowry in Caelid, the player will reencounter the maiden north of the Erdtree-Gazing Hill’s Site of Grace in Altus Plateau. She will discuss her plans to continue her search for Malenia but rue that she cannot aid the Elden Ring protagonist in battle due to losing her sword arm. However, adventurers can solve this problem by giving her Valkyrie’s Prosthesis.

Valkyrie’s Prosthesis is located within the Shaded Castle, a poison-ridden fortress on the northern side of the Atlus Plateau. To reach this location, Tarnished must journey north within the valley between Mt. Gelmir and the eastern portion of the Atlus Plateau. However, if adventurers are trekking from the Road of Iniquity in the north, they can safely jump down the cliff by landing on the Spiritspring Jump across the trail from the Old Altus Tunnel.

Once Tarnished arrive at the Shaded Castle, they can no longer Torrent within the vicinity, making it challenging to avoid the poisonous swamp. As a result, adventurers are advised to carry Neutralizing Boluses or have the Elden Ring‘s Cure Poison Incantation equipped just in case. Additionally, Valkyrie’s Prosthesis is stored within a chest in the northeastern tower of the castle. Accordingly, the player does not need to defeat Elemer of the Briar, the Dungeon’s boss, to acquire the prosthetic arm.

Valkyrie’s Prosthesis Location In Elden Ring

To get Valkyrie’s Prosthesis for Millicent in Elden Ring, Tarnished must reach the northwestern tower in the left corner of the Shaded Castle. Adventurers can acquire the item by climbing a tall ladder leading to the rampart on the left outer ward. Those entering from the west must hop across the rooftop of a sunken building and wade through the swamp. On the other hand, players coming in from the south need to get past several poisonous slugs and corrupted humanoid enemies with ranged-holy attacks in Elden Ring. After getting to the top of the wall, go left and head down the walkway towards the tower. Several zombie-like mobs will be idly scattered about the path and can be bypassed. However, an elite Cleanrot Knight will be guarding the doorway to the tower, so Tarnished might need to defeat it to proceed.

After obtaining the Valkyrie’s Prosthesis, return to Millicent at the Erdtree-Gazing Hill and gift her with a new arm to advance her questline. Later on, Tarnished will meet her again in Windmill Village to the northeast.
