Tim Robinson is a Detroit, Michigan native who jumpstarted his television comedy career as a cast member and writer for Saturday Night Live. Alongside fellow Detroiter and Veep star Sam Richardson, Robinson wrote and starred in Comedy Central’s Detroiters. This sketch series showcases doltish characters and cringe-inducing situations; it includes mock commercials, inane office meetings, and disturbing conclusions. Season two of I Think You Should Leave With Tim Robinson is set to debut sometime in 2020. To prep you for the next batch of demented jokes, this list digs into every episode from season one, ranked according to IMDb.

The premiere episode of I Think You Should Leave With Tim Robinson begins with a sketch that sets the tone for the series. In one, Robinson plays a man who, after nailing a job interview at a coffee shop, tries to open the door the wrong way when leaving. The interviewer tells him the door opens by being pushed in the other direction, but embarrassed and unwilling to admit he’s wrong, Robinson’s character keeps pushing the door in the wrong direction until it breaks free of its hinges.

Each episode of I Think You Should Leave is directed by Akiva Schaffer and Alice Mathias. Tim Robinson writes alongside  Zach Kanin and John Solomon. Other sketches include an argument over a gift receipt at a birthday party starring Steven Yeun, a contentious “Baby of the Year” ceremony hosted by Sam Richardson, and a fake legal infomercial.

Humor like this stretches the limits of believability far beyond any standard capacity, instead generating laughs by reveling in total ridiculousness. 4 Thanks For Thinking They Are Cool – 7.6

The highlight of this episode is a sketch co-starring Will Forte. Forte plays an old man on a red-eye flight to Europe who, on a similar flight decades earlier, was kept awake by a screaming baby. Robinson plays the now very grown-up baby, a man enjoying a honeymoon trip with his new wife. Old man Forte plans to exact vengeance by screaming nd crying into Robinson’s character’s ear all night. However, a flight attention spoils the plan.

This episode also showcases a special t-shirt for men with dad bods. The t-shirt features a tugging function that keeps it from sticking to stomachs.

3 It’s The Cigars You Smoke That Are Going To Give You Cancer – 7.5

Fred Willard, Cecily Strong, and Tim Heidecker guest star in this episode’s sketches, which explore masculinity in hysterical ways. In one skit, Robinson plays a man at a magic show with his wife. After the magician light-heartedly mocks Robinson’s character, the character’s wife is incapable of respecting her husband anymore, believing he refused to stand up for himself.

In a different hilarious sketch, Heidecker – known for Adult Swim’s Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! – plays a man engaged in charades with his much younger girlfriend’s buddies. Heidecker’s character contributes some really obscure words and phrases to the game.

2 We Used To Watch This At My Old Work – 7.4

A very bizarre intervention brings this episode to a close. The aforementioned intervention takes place in a home previously owned by Garfield creator Jim Davis, and the woman – played by comedian Kate Berlant – who currently owns it insists her friend’s intervention take place there. Berlant’s character sees it as an opportunity to show off her digs more than to help her friend. Needless to say, some surreal humor ensues.
