Copies of Pokémon Legends: Arceus have leaked online and all of the Pokémon models have been ripped from the game and uploaded to the Internet. The Legends: Arceus leak appears to be legit and has revealed a number of Hisuian Pokémon that will appear in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, as well as some brand new Pokémon that fans weren’t expecting. The leaked folder with the Pokémon is claiming that it’s the entire Pokédex, but it’s unclear if this is true. There’s also a chance that Game Freak could add more Pokémon after the fact, through post-launch updates or DLC.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is set in the Hisui region, which is the ancient version of the Sinnoh region from Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. The Hisui region has yet to be colonized by humans, which means that there are wild Pokémon wandering openly around the countryside. The player joins the Galaxy Expedition Team, which hopes to learn more about the Pokémon in the region. It’s up to the player to explore these dangerous lands and battle the wild Pokémon that reside in the region. The gameplay in Pokémon Legends: Arceus is closer to Monster Hunter than previous entries in the series, as it involes going out on individual missions with specific goals, rather than a single quest to defeat the Champion.

The Hisui region is drastically different from the other regions in the series. The untamed nature of the land means that many Pokémon are rougher than their modern equivalents, such as Scyther’s evolution, Kleavor, having a body composed of stone. The Pokémon Company has been gradually releasing information about the Hisuian Pokémon in online updates, but the fans have beaten them to the punch. There are copies of Pokémon Legends: Arceus available online and fans have datamined them, revealing all of their secrets. Images of the new Pokémon can be seen on the PoryLeeks and BallGuyLEAKS Twitter pages.

The Pokémon With New Forms & Brand New Pokémon In Legends: Arceus

  • Dialga
  • Palkia
  • New Member Of The Forces Of Nature

The leak shows new forms of Dialga and Palkia, where they both share visual similarities with Arceus. Early Arceus leaks referred to these as Origin Formes. Palkia resembles a centaur, with horse-like legs, while his arms are gone, yet its pauldrons remain. Dialga has a five-pointed tail, a long horn (like Arceus), and a massive new section jutting out of its neck that appears to be based on the armored plate on the chest of the original version of the Pokémon. It’s odd that these Pokémon never showed up in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, though there’s a chance that they could be added to the games later, as part of a post-launch update to celebrate the release of Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

The leak shows a new member of the Forces of Nature (Landorus, Thundurus, and Tornadus), whose name has yet to be revealed. The base form of this Pokémon has pink skin, devil horns, a heart-shaped pattern on its head, and a snake-like figure wrapped around its body. This Pokémon appears to also have a froglike Therian forme, where the Pokémon’s body fuses with the cloud, while the snake rides on its back. It’s odd that a Legendary Pokémon trio from the Unova region would receive a new Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus and not the Lake Guardians. It’s possible that this Pokémon will tie into a future remake of Pokémon Black and White, or possibly the next entry in the Pokémon Legends series, which could be set in ancient Unova, and may focus on Victini.

Fans had suspected that the three starter Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus would receive Hisuian evolutions, and they have. Decidueye now has the look of a wandering samurai, with its hair resembling a straw hat, and its wings resembling short robes. The horn on Samurott’s head is crooked and it has new spikes on its helmet. Typhlosion’s dark skin pattern now rolls around its neck, with three large purple dots on its skin. There are some leaks that have claimed the Hisuian Typhlosion has purple fire on its body, instead of the regular flames of the original version, but this has yet to be confirmed.

Ursaring now walks on all fours and has a thick grey mane of hair around its body. Lilligant is now a lot more slender, with a small pink flower on its head, and with long thin leaf-like arms. Arcanine now has a darker color scheme and pointed patterns on its hair. Avalugg now has a rock-like body with what appears to be metal jaws around its mouth. Electrode has a wooden part on the top of its body and looks far angrier than its predecessor. Qwilfish has a black and bright pink color scheme, with pink tipped eyes and spikes. Rumors of Hisuian Qwilfish and an evolution for the line were actually hinted in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.

Sneasel now has grey fur, purple claws, a purple ear, and two yellow gems on its chest and head. Goomy appears to be the same, but its evolutions have Hisuian forms. Sligoo’s body appears to be fused with its massive tail, while Goodra carries a huge version of the same tail, resembling a squirrel. Basculin has a smaller body and more slender fins.

The Hisuian version of Qwilfish has an evolution, which resembles a massive spiked naval mine. Its body has massive protruding spikes. There was actually a planned evolution for Qwilfish that appeared in the leaked Space World ’97 build of Pokémon Gold and Silver, though that one had a drastically different design than this new Pokémon.

The Pokémon Legends: Arceus leaks claimed that Sneasal would have a new Hisuian evolution, rather than a Hisuian version of Weavile. The leak has revealed this new Pokémon, which has a long slender body, with grey fur, black and red claws, two yellow diamond-shaped gems on its chest and head, and one long black ear. It appears that Weavile won’t appear at all in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
