While FortniteSeason 5 had 40 friendly NPCs for players to interact with and purchase items from, Season 6 has increased that number, adding some new friendlies and hostile NPCs to the list of familiar faces. As in Season 5, the Season 6 NPCs can either be found in one static spot or roaming multiple locations on the map. At the start of Fortnite Season 6, there are 46 NPCs for players to meet, plus six Spire Guardian bosses, and the Spire Assassin. Some NPCs will still offer players bounties and quests, weapons, and items like last season. Others, like Raptor, Zenith, Blackheart, and any of the Spire Guardians, will attack the player on sight.

Like in Season 5, when players get close to one of the 46 NPCs who has a quest or items to share, they will appear as a speech bubble on the mini-map. Though they don’t have quite the same amount of focus as the NPCs last season, it is likely talking to these characters will be important as the season progresses to unlock quests, purchase weapons, upgrades, or disguises, or even hire an NPC bodyguard. Here’s the known locations of every NPC in Fortnite Season 6 so far.

Every NPC Location In Fortnite Season 6

As players find new Fortnite NPCs, they will be added to the player’s Collections. These are a separate tab from Fish that players catch. The map below, created by meetlootllama on Twitter, shows the approximate spawn location for all 46 NPCs in the game so far. It’s a good idea to go speak to the NPCs during Fortnite Season 6 matches. Many of them have free items they will give players just for talking to them, including Animal Bones, Mechanical Parts, and healing items.
