The Hubie Halloween soundtrack stays true to the film’s thematic premise, but also includes a variety of music from rock ‘n’ roll sub-genres. There are references to classic creature films, along with call-backs to popular Halloween songs from the past. Despite a strong collection of music, the Hubie Halloween soundtrack takes a backseat to the comedy provided by Happy Madison regulars.

Hubie Halloween stars Adam Sandler as the socially-awkward Hubie Dubois. Each Halloween, the Salem native monitors the community’s “candy etiquette,” and thus becomes the target of mean-spirited pranks. Sandler’s character keeps his composure while developing a friendship with his long-time crush, Violet Valentine (Julie Bowen), but struggles to gain the goodwill of his Salem peers, many of whom take advantage of the fact Mr. Dubois is easily-scared.

Shortly after, “Happy Halloween” plays when local kids chase down Hubie, and “Wind Beneath My Wings” is performed at a funeral near the gravestone of Walter Lambert.

“Trick or Treat” can be heard when Hubie begins monitoring Halloween on a full moon evening, and “End Title (from Creature from the Black Lagoon)” kicks in quietly as Danielle (Sadie Sandler) watches a monster movie classic. Moments later, “Dancing with the Devil” is performed live when Tommy (Noah Schnapp) arrives at a Halloween party.

“Werewolves of London” scores the moment when Hubie has an enlightening face-to-face conversation on Halloween with DJ Aurora. “Monster Mash” plays during a credits/outtakes sequence, and Hubie Halloween comes to a close with a studio version of “Get Freaky”.
