Throughout the course of Spider-Man: Miles Morales there are actually a lot of activities for players to spend their time with. The game’s main campaign is a fun aspect of it, but much of the additional side activities are worth checking out as well. There are not only engaging side stories, but also active crimes for Spider-Man to solve, photos to capture, and even a wide range of different collectibles to find.

Tracking down all of the collectible items in Spider-Man: Miles Morales can take a lot of time to do but can wind up being very rewarding. One such group of collectibles in the game are the sound sample left behind by Miles’ uncle Aaron Davis. Each sample requires players to complete a small puzzle to locate them, so this can take quite a bit of effort. For those who don’t want to spend their time searching, this guide shows how to locate all of the Sound Samples.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales – Every Sound Sample Location

In order to begin searching for all of these Sound Samples, players will first need to complete the 13th story mission, Breaking Through the Noise. During this mission, Uncle Aaron will suggest that Miles should sample the different noises of the city in order to develop a new beat. At the end of this mission, Miles will record the very first Sound Sample, which then unlocks the rest of the Samples around the city.

  • Financial District- When players make it to the Financial District they should then head to the southern portion that looks off towards the Statue of Liberty. The sound will be coming from one of the ferries that circles around the statue.
  • Chinatown- This sample will be found in the southeastern portion of the district. There will be a large Chinese inspired archway across from the player that has some bells hanging below it. The sound is coming from those bells.
  • Greenwich- Players will need to travel just northeast of the park in Greenwich where there is an intersection. Across the street from the player, there will be a large church. The player will need to aim up at the steeple in order to record the Sound Sample from the church bells.
  • Harlem- If players travel west from the train tracks where they will find themselves on a street that travels diagonally. Players will need to sample the sound coming from the nearby trains but must wait for a train t pass by to record it.
  • Upper West Side- On the very edge of Central Park players will find a fire station with a group of firefighters out front. The sound that players need to record will be coming from the fire truck inside the open garage.
  • Upper East Side- Among a few really tall buildings there will be a courtyard that the player needs to make it to. On the roof of one of the buildings, there will be a water tower that drips water below it. The sound that players want to record is the dripping water itself.
  • Central Park- On the southern part of the park players will find a frozen lake where they can record the sound sample here. The sound is coming from a nearby group of pigeons, but they will run away if the player gets too close. Players will need to turn invisible and sneak up to capture the sound.
  • Midtown- Players will find the final Sound Sample within the bounds of the famous Times Square. Right in the center of where all the major roads converge, players will discover a small building with neon lights on the side. The sound of the humming lights will need to be recorded.
