The recently released Spider-Man: No Way Home, features a surprising number of different costumes, and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 would benefit greatly were it to include all of them. One of the aspects of the first Marvel’s Spider-Man that fans loved so much was the inclusion of many different Spidey suits that they could use in-game. Suits have been pulled not only from the pages of the comics, but also nearly every Spider-Man live-action film, including the Sam Raimi trilogy with Tobey Maguire and the Amazing Spider-Man films with Andrew Garfield. Marvel’s Spider-Man even influenced No Way Home, showing just how important a depiction it was.

Not only does Spider-Man: No Way Home feature the return of several of the major villains from previous Spider-Man films, including Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock. Tom Holland’s Peter Parker also dons a variety of different Spidey suits throughout No Way Home, ranging from those seen in previous MCU outings, to new creations altogether. Given Marvel’s Spider-Man features several MCU suits for players to wear, it would make sense for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to feature even more.

There are six total suits worn by Spider-Man in No Way Home, and each one of these could make a fantastic addition to the upcoming Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 game. Since the first game already succeeded in bringing many fan-favorite suits into the game, it will be something fans expect to see in the sequel. Marvel’s Spider-Man is already one of the best Spider-Man games to play after No Way Home, but being able to don fan-favorite Spider-Man suits is an important part of letting fans live out their fantasy of being the character, so it’d be great to see even more in the sequel.

No Way Home Costumes Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Needs

The Integrated Suit was first introduced in the third act of Spider-Man: Far From Home. After losing the suit that Tony Stark had designed for him earlier in the film, Peter Parker uses the fabricator on Happy Hogan’s plane to create one of his own design. He creates the Integrated Suit with a red and black design, possibly as an homage to Steve Ditko’s original Spider-Man costume, which featured more black than blue. In Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man starts out wearing this suit, as it picks up moments after the previous film left off. This suit was already brought to Marvel’s Spider-Man in the Far From Home DLC that included the Stealth Suit as well, the latter of which did not appear in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

No Way Home’s Black & Gold Suit Should Be In Spider-Man 2

The Black and Gold suit has been featured in the Spider-Man: No Way Home’s promotional content quite a bit, but in the film, the now-iconic suit came about by accident. After the world learns that Spider-Man’s true identity is Peter Parker, and are convinced that he killed Mysterio, an angry protestor ends up throwing green paint on Spider-Man’s suit, staining it. Peter Parker is unable to clean the suit before his next mission, so he turns the suit inside-out, giving it not only its black and gold appearance, but also exposing some of the wiring inside. This Spider-Man: No Way Home suit caused a backlash when it joined Marvel’s Spider-Man as a PS5 exclusive, but it appearing in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 shouldn’t be controversial.

The Iron Spider Suit Could Be Upgraded In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

The Iron Spider suit was first introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe at the very end of Spider-Man: Homecoming. After defeating the Vulture and proving himself a worthy superhero in the eyes of Tony Stark, Peter is brought to the Avengers compound where Iron Man offers to make him an Avenger and shows off the new suit. Parker declines (assuming it is a test to see if he’s ready) and doesn’t end up using the suit until Avengers: Infinity War. The Iron Spider suit is a perfect blend of Spider-Man’s traditionally agile costume mixed with the technology and features of Iron Man’s armor, and should return for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, having already featured in the first Marvel’s Spider-Man.

Spider-Man: No Way Home not only features the traditional Iron Spider suit from Avengers: Infinity War, but also a blended suit that appears to be the Integrated Suit with some of the Iron Spider technology. This No Way Home suit joined Marvel’s Spider-Man as a free DLC, but it would be great to see it make a return in the upcoming Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. It’s one of the more striking MCU designs, and would give players the opportunity to recreate moments from No Way Home.

Andrew Garfield’s Suit Should Return in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

When Ned and MJ are unable to locate Spider-Man after Aunt May’s tragic death, Ned opens a portal to see Peter Parker. Unfortunately for him (and fortunately for fans), it is the wrong Peter Parker, and Andrew Garfield’s version of the character jumps through the portal to join them. With the actor’s appearance comes his version of the suit, making its return for the first time since the Amazing Spider-Man films. The Amazing Spider-Man suit is in Marvel’s Spider-Man but it would be amazing for fans of both Spider-Man: No Way Home and the Amazing Spider-Man films to have this version added in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

Tobey Maguire’s Suit Should Return For Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

To this day, the Spider-Man suit worn by Tobey Maguire in the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy is one of the most beloved iterations of the suit. Seeing Maguire don the suit once again in Spider-Man: No Way Home was a powerful and emotional moment for many viewers, and has no doubt renewed interest in seeing the suit make a return in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The suit is one of the best costumes in Marvel’s Spider-Man, but seeing it make a return in the sequel would be fantastic.

No Way Home’s Romita-Inspired Suit Should Be In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

After Doctor. Strange’s spell makes the entire world forget that Peter Parker is Spider-Man, Parker is forced to make is way on his own in the world. He gets an apartment, begins studying for his G.E.D., and crafts his own Spider-Man suit. This brand-new red and blue suit mimics the suit worn by Spider-Man in Marvel Comics (albeit a bit shinier). Fans have already begun reacting positively to the suit’s new appearance, as it closely matches the Spider-Man suit they’ve grown to love from comics, animated shows, and video games. Fans are so excited about the new Spider-Man suit from No Way Home that one has edited it into the game with some clever concept art. This suit has the potential to not only be one of the MCU’s best suits but also one of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2‘s.

The roster of Spider-Man suits will no doubt be large in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 if the first game is any indicator to go by, but it is still unknown how many of these MCU suits will make an appearance. Insomniac may bring back all the costumes from the first game on top of adding new ones. In any case, the popularity of Spider-Man: No Way Home and the staggering number of different suits that appear in the movie give developer Insomniac a lot of opportunities to include more awesome suits in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
