Which TWD actors took part in The Robot Chicken Walking Dead Special: Look Who’s Walking? Adult Swim’s stop-motion sketch comedy series Robot Chicken basically exists to parody pop culture, with some of its favorite targets being Star Wars and DC Comics – both of which have been lampooned several times in Robot Chicken specials. Given the pop culture sensation that The Walking Dead has become since airing its first season back in 2010, it only made sense the zombie horror show would one day be the subject of a Robot Chicken special itself.

That moment came in October 2017 when Adult Swim aired The Robot Chicken Walking Dead Special: Look Who’s Walking. A year in the making, the special is a loving lampoon of all things The Walking Dead. It’s framed by a sketch set after the zombie threat has been eliminated in a grossly inaccurate museum that celebrates the exploits of Rick Grimes – or Rick Gremlin, as the tour guide calls him – and his gang. Thankfully, Old Man Carl is on hand to set the story straight.

A smorgasbord of madcap sketches are crammed into this 22-minute long special. There’s a Superman-themed origin story for Lucille the baseball bat, a skit that sees Rick and the gang from the perspective of a walker and another that reimagines the Terminus crew as a bunch of musical theater-loving cannibals – plus a running gag about Carl being a girl and having oddly lustrous hair for a kid growing up in a zombie apocalypse. What makes The Robot Chicken Walking Dead Special: Look Who’s Walking even more hilarious is that many actors from the show – both past and present – voiced their stop-motion counterparts. Here’s every actor from The Walking Dead who appeared in the Robot Chicken special.

Andrew Lincoln

Jon Bernthal

Sarah Wayne Callies

Norman Reedus

Steven Yeun

Lauren Cohan

Chandler Riggs

Danai Gurira

Michael Rooker

Melissa McBride

Lennie James

Scott Wilson

Josh McDermitt

Jeffrey Dean Morgan

Alongside playing their regular Walking Dead characters, some of the actors involved also voiced other roles in the special. Michael Rooker, for example, also voiced Lucille’s adoptive father in the baseball bat’s origin story skit while Lennie James voiced not only Morgan Jones but Fred Livingston III – the actor that, in the world of Robot Chicken, dresses up in a tiger suit to play Shiva – too.

At the end of The Robot Chicken Walking Dead Special: Look Who’s Walking, there’s even a Talking Dead skit featuring Robert Kirkman, Scott M. Gimple and Chris Hardwick all voicing stop-motion versions of themselves. Andrew J. West, the actor that played Terminus leader Gareth, must’ve been busy filming Once Upon A Time because it was Daniel Radcliffe – funnily enough – that provided the voice of Gareth in the special.
