Week 5 of Fortnite Season 4 comes with a new set of Weekly Challenges, many of which will be familiar to players who have been diligently completing tasks to earn more season XP. Thanks to the massive Marvel crossover event, players and fans have been eager to get their hands on the new superhero skins, which unlock at various Tiers within the Battle Pass. If tradition holds, players have made it to the halfway point of the season, and the rush for XP will kick up a notch. Weekly Challenges often provide an easy way to boost XP and give players a reason to stop at various parts of the map they may not otherwise travel to.

Many of the Weekly Challenges during Season 4 have also asked players to explore new Marvel-themed POIs on the map. This week, there is more of a mix between Marvel-themed tasks and regular Fortnite tasks. There are eight challenges this week. As usual, completing each challenge will earn the player 25,000 XP, and the Team Challenge will earn them 50,000 XP. Here’s every Week 5 Challenge for Fortnite Season 4.

Every Week 5 Challenge in Fortnite Season 4

This week, players won’t have too much trouble completing challenges. Apart from the Team Challenge, there isn’t anything terribly unfamiliar in the lineup. Like always, the Weekly Challenges don’t go live until Thursday and are subject to change. Here are all the challenges leaked for Week 5 of Season 4:

  • Search Chests at Doom’s Domain (0/7) – 25,000 XP
  • Eliminations at Dirty Docks (0/3) – 25,000 XP
  • Drive a car from Slurpy Swamp to Catty Corner in less than 4 minutes without getting out (0/1) – 25,000 XP
  • Collect Floating Rings at Coral Castle (0/1) – 25,000 XP
  • In a vehicle, jump through the flaming rings at Salty Springs (0/1) – 25,000 XP
  • Make a Stark Robot dance (0/1) – 25,000 XP
  • Destroy Gorgers (0/1) – 50,000 XP
  • Deal damage to opponents at The Authority (0/500) – 25,000 XP

Chests, Eliminations, Damage, and Floating Rings are all standard Weekly Challenge fare players will likely be well-accustomed to now. Making a Stark Robot dance bears some similarity to the Week 4 challenge to hack Stark Robots. Players can easily find one of these at Stark Industries, or they can seek Quinjet patrol sites with the hope of stumbling on a random encounter with these robotic henchmen.

The Team Challenge once more has to do with Galactus’ drones. The Gorger first appeared on the map a few weeks ago and since then has been wreaking havoc on the island. Players will want to tackle this difficult enemy with a squad if possible. The Gorger often calls upon smaller drones, called Gatherers, which can make the fight that much more challenging without help.

In addition to the regular Weekly Challenges, players can expect a new Wolverine challenge. This week, according to dataminers, the Wolverine challenge currently has players Locate A Mutant Containment Truck, but this is unconfirmed and could change. While Mutant Containment Trucks have yet to appear in the game, this may arrive with the new challenges on Thursday.

Players can also continue with Awakening challenges as they become available this week. These challenges help them unlock cosmetics and built-in emotes for the different superhero skins. Players reach these at different times, and they usually appear seven Tiers after unlocking one of the Battle Pass skins.

Fortniteis available for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. A port is in the works for the next-gen consoles.
