Season 23 is slowly coming up for Diablo 3, which means there will be some significant changes to the game and a lot of new features getting added. There is no stated release date for season 23 as of this writing, although speculation is leaning towards an April 9th date, which is a Friday, which usually is the day of the week new seasons get released. With the ending of season 22 on the way, that means there is not much time left in the Double Goblin event.

With the release of Season 23, there will be a few bug fixes that are tagging along for the ride. Some of the class-specific bug fixes, such as the Wizard ability Deathwish, corrects the damage bonus on Channeling. More importantly, there are some fixes to the Leaderboards where the Leaderboard UI was experiencing a few glitches, like the bottom section getting cut off as one example.

Followers will have access to 14 equipment slots: the Follower Relic Item, Helm, Shoulders, Chest, Gloves, Bracers, Belt, 2 Rings, Neck, Pants Boots, main-hand weapon, and off-hand. Staying with the Follower, they will be getting a new feature called Emanate that has players gaining the effect of the Legendary Powers and Set Bonuses that get equipped on the Follower. The Followers’ changes should make the single-player experience a lot more meaningful and make the Followers more valuable than their previous iteration. Some new skills will get added to the Scoundrel and the Enchantress, which are the following:
