While viewers have yet to receive an official trailer for the film, the moments captured in the preview have already stirred excitement. The Netflix original is directed by the award-winning Jeremiah Zagar, who is primarily known for 2018’s We the Animals. The movie also enrolls writer Will Fetters who worked on one of the best remakes of the 2010s with AStar is Born. He is joined by lesser-known writer and producer Taylor Materne.

The film, which centers on Adam Sandler’s basketball scout character, is expected to be an interesting mashup between two contrasting worlds. The Oscar-nominated Fetters works with Materne, who may not be well-known in the film world but is recognizable for his role in writing basketball-centered video games, NBA 2K19 and NBA 2K20. Hustle Story Details
