The Facts of Life live reading adds Jennifer Aniston, Kathryn Hahn, and more to the cast. Making its debut in 2019, Live in Front of a Studio Audience features all-star cast members recreating classic sitcom episodes. Hosted by Norman Lear and Jimmy Kimmel, Live in Front of a Studio Audience has captured scenes from All in the Family, The Jeffersons, and Good Times with Hollywood’s finest, including Viola Davis, Kerry Washington, Jamie Foxx, Woody Harrelson, and Will Ferrell. Recently, it was announced that the third installment of ABC’s recreation series would tackle two iconic sitcoms from the ’80s, Diff’rent Strokes and The Facts of Life.

ABC revealed The Facts of Life live reenactment has cast Aniston as Blair, Gabrielle Union as Tootie, Allison Tolman as Natalie, Hahn as Jo, and Ann Dowd as Mrs. Garrett. Slated to debut on ABC on December 7, The Facts of Life recreation will air along with Diff’rent Strokes, which has tapped John Lithgow and Kevin Hart to portray Mr. Drummond and Arnold. Created by Dick Clair and Jenna McMahon, The Facts of Life follows housemother Edna Garrett (Charlotte Rae) as she nurtures, educates, and reasons with students Blair (Lisa Whelchel), Tootie (Kim Fields), Natalie (Mindy Cohn), and Jo (Nancy McKeon) at a private all-girls boarding school. Premiering in 1979, The Facts of Life became one of the longest-running series in the 1980s. It remains to be seen which episodes will be reenacted, but the star power behind the live broadcast will rekindle some classic moments from The Facts of Life when it airs on December 7.
