A highly decorated soldier was always likely to take Steve Rogers’s place but it was always expected to be Sam Wilson. Now known as US Agent, John Walker started as “the new Captain America” in The Falcon & The Winter Soldier. When John Walker showed up in the new limited series on Disney+, fans were ready to dislike him from the get-go because he felt like he was just there for show rather than to truly uphold what Cap’s shield and what being Captain America meant.

While fans aren’t sure what will come of John Walker, aka US Agent, they are sure to grab up a good costume when they see it. Cosplayers flocked to different styles of US Agent cosplays, whether it be homemade, bodysuit style, prop-oriented, or classic materials. These US Agent cosplayers bring their uniqueness to props and poses but they all create the same John Walker intensity required to get just the right picture.

In partnership with photographer Adam Franco, Matt recreated the intensity of John Walker while also capturing the great details of his costume, from utility belt to vibranium shield.
