Developers Mediatonic and InnerSloth have re-teamed for a second Among Us costume that will hit Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout on July 2. Fall Guys received its first Among Us skin during the start of Season 4, which went live near the end of March.

The red spacesuit came with a bottom and top piece, each of which players had to earn by progressing through Fall Guys‘ Battle Pass ranks. Players obtained the outfit’s lower portion by achieving rank 21; users who reached rank 26 were rewarded with the top half. Unsurprisingly, Fall Guys has since played host to a few more crossover events. Shovel Knight joined the fun in April, for example, followed by Tron and Bomberman events in late May. And just recently, Nier: Automata’s 2B navigated her way through the obstacle course, as well.

Mediatonic took to the official Fall Guys Twitter account to announce a second crossover with Among Us, which arrives later this week on Friday, July 2. Instead of a red crewmate, however, fans will be able to get their hands on a purple impostor, complete with the cracked visor and ghastly set of teeth. At the time of writing, details on how players can expect to unlock the new costume remain under lock and key. Check out the teaser clip below of a purple impostor sneakily approaching an unsuspecting crewmate in red.

The latest Among Us costume seems a good way to slowly phase out Fall Guys Season 4. Mediatonic launched the fourth run on March 22 and has continuously updated the season with futuristic-themed content in the many weeks since then. Not much is known about the fifth mainline update, though concrete details should surface sometime soon, considering Season 4 will come to an end on July 20.

Though Among Us originally launched in 2018, both it and Fall Guys took the world by storm in 2020. And each of the multiplayer-centric titles are set to expand their horizons further by launching versions on other hardware. Among Us is expected to release on PlayStation and Xbox consoles in 2021. Meanwhile, Fall Guys once boasted a summer due date for Nintendo Switch and Xbox; unfortunately, these plans have received an indefinite delay.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is available on PC, PS4, and PS5, while players can explore Among Us on PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile platforms.
