There’s a whole new world to explore in the Far Cry 6 Pagan: Control DLC, and players will want to know the safest ways to travel and explore it. The Far Cry 6 Pagan: Control DLC takes players into the mind of Pagan Min as he fights against a darker, more twisted version of himself for control. Just like in the Far Cry 6 Vaas: Insanity DLC, players will experience roguelike gameplay mechanics. This makes knowing where to find fast travel points and safe houses especially valuable so players can safely exit the game without losing their progress and inventory.

Apart from the player’s main base (The Dinner Table), each Far Cry 6 Pagan: Control safe house is guarded by Tyrants – mental representations of Pagan Min in a mask. If players are unable to defeat the Tyrant quickly enough, more hostile mobs will spawn, so gathering some powerful weapons from the DLC is recommended. Safe houses can only be activated after all enemies nearby are gone. It is also important to note that, even if players exit the game while in a safe house, they will need to repeat the fight with the Tyrant upon reloading their saved game.

Players can find three safe houses in the Far Cry 6 Pagan: Control DLC. These include the Lakeside Safe House on the far western side of the map, the Country Safe House in the far northern region of the map, and the Mountain Safe House in the southeastern region of the map. If players exit Far Cry 6 while in one of these safe houses, they will keep their inventory. Exiting the game for any reason outside of a safe house is the easiest way to lose weapons, powers, cash, and progress.

Fast Travel Mirrors in Far Cry 6 Pagan: Control

Fast travel points in Far Cry 6 Pagan: Control are similar to fast travel points in the Vaas: Insanity DLC. Players must find pairs of mirrors to teleport from place to place. The mirrors and their connections are as follows:

  • Mirror One connects the northwestern and southwestern corners of the map where the primary Memory missions of the DLC are.
  • Mirror Two connects the southwestern and eastern corners of the map. The southwestern point is near the Dinner Table player basecamp.
  • Mirror Three connects the western and northeastern sections of the map.

While Pagan: Control is certainly a more colorful and well-deserved addition to Far Cry 6, some fans think the series is in need of something more. Whether Ubisoft decides to continue their live service model or somehow evolve the Far Cry series is still unknown.

Far Cry 6 is available on Google Stadia, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
