The latest free DLC mission for Far Cry 6 introduces Rambo-inspired content, including an explosive new Vengeance Bow. This serves as but another piece of Hollywood-flavored content for the open-world action game, the first of which manifested as Far Cry 6’s Danny Trejo crossover. The Danny Trejo DLC – Dani & Danny vs Everybody – went live in mid-December 2021, allowing Far Cry protagonist Dani Rojas to work alongside the Machete star as he fought off soldados who didn’t approve of his humanitarian efforts on Yara.

Far Cry 6 has received a wave of post-release support from developers since its launch last October. In addition to the free missions, two paid DLC offerings have hit digital storefronts, both placing players in the roles of classic villains from the series. The first of such content releases, Vaas: Insanity, revolved around a roguelite experience that dug deep into the psyche of the beloved Far Cry 3 foe. Pagan Min-starring Far Cry 6 DLC launched this past January, too, providing players with additional insight into the inner demons that haunt Far Cry 4’s King of Kyrat. The antagonist of the fifth mainline game, Joseph Seed, will similarly star in a DLC release that presently lacks a due date.

Rambo: All the Blood” constitutes the latest free mission for Far Cry 6 that’s available now for all platforms. As the title suggests, the new downloadable content wears its 80s action influences on its sleeve, thanks to an in-game Rambo superfan who recruits Dani to take on Yaran military forces in a blood-soaked rampage. In a press release, Ubisoft touts how over-the-top action and stealth come together in perfect harmony, which seems evident in the announcement trailer that also features a slew of Rambo references. The gameplay trailer additionally shows off a brand-new weapon, a Vengeance Bow packed with explosive capabilities. Far Cry 6’s new DLC further allows players to customize Dani with Rambo-style gear and a vehicle.

With Rambo and Danny Trejo content under Far Cry 6’s belt, the first-person shooter has at least one more crossover mission scheduled to release this year. And a previously shared roadmap confirmed that said content includes a Stranger Things tie-in of some kind, which should go live on an unspecified date in March.

As noted above, Ubisoft’s post-launch support for Far Cry 6 has one more piece of paid DLC on the docket – Joseph: Collapse. If it bears anything in common with Vaas: Insanity and Pagan: Control, players can expect a roguelite experience replete with enemies to fight and challenges to surmount.

Far Cry 6’s all-new Rambo crossover DLC is available to play now across Google Stadia, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
