Fear The Walking Dead Season 6 Returning Cast & New Character Guide

The Fear the Walking Dead season 6 cast brings back everyone from season 5, while also introducing new characters into the mix who will undoubtedly shake up the storyline. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Fear the Walking Dead season 6 was forced to shut down production in early 2020, which led to the new season being delayed and ultimately occupying the flagship series’ slot in October.

Fear the Walking Dead season 6 will presumably run for the rest of the year before taking a hiatus and returning sometime in 2021. Given that the series couldn’t resume production until late summer/early fall, it’s unclear how long the gaps between episodes will be. But the fact that most of the cast is split up, at least at the start of the season, could help with production in the long run.

Fear the Walking Dead season 6 seems to begin weeks after the events of the season 5 finale, which addresses what happened to Morgan – the biggest question coming out of season 5. Where the show goes from there remains to be seen, but it’ll certainly be interesting to see how everything ties together – and whether or not there will be more teases to the Civic Republic.

Fear The Walking Dead Season 6 Returning Cast

Lennie James as Morgan Jones: Morgan is one of the original Walking Dead characters who crossed over to Fear the Walking Dead in season 4. He was shot in the season 5 finale and left for dead, but has somehow survived because of an unknown savior. Lennie James is widely known for his role as Morgan but has also starred in Jericho, Human Target, and Blade Runner 2049.

Alycia Debnam-Carrey as Alicia Clark: Alicia is an original survivor on Fear the Walking Dead. She has traveled throughout the southwest region of North America with her family, all of whom are dead now. Before landing a starring role on Fear the Walking Dead, Alycia Debnam-Carrey gained recognition for her role as Lexa on The 100, which she recently reprised.

Colman Domingo as Victor Strand: Victor has come a long way from his days conning people and is a core part of the group. In season 6, he and Alicia have been paired in one of the Pioneers’ villages. Colman Domingo has enjoyed a prolific career in entertainment, spanning the screen and stage. He’s appeared in numerous TV shows but also movies like Lincoln, Lucy in the Sky, and Selma.

Maggie Grace as Althea Szewczyk-Przygocki: Althea joined Fear the Walking Dead along with Morgan and has been a character who ties various stories together – Alicia’s mother, the CRM, and more. Her story is rather unique considering how much she knows, given her journalist career. Maggie Grace is widely recognized for starring on LOST, the Taken trilogy, and the Twilight series.

Austin Amelio as Dwight: Dwight was one of Negan’s closest allies and was ultimately banished when the Saviors were defeated. He joined Morgan’s group in season 5 after spending an undisclosed amount of time searching for his missing wife. Austin Amelio is a renowned skateboarder, but his role as Dwight has been his most recognizable on-screen role.

Danay García as Luciana Galvez: Luciana joined the group because of Nick, who was previously killed. She’s since become an expert on managing the oil fields, and is a core part of Morgan’s group. Danay Garcia is known for starring in Prison Break in the late 2000s and appearing in a variety of movies.

Garrett Dillahunt as John Dorie: John is a former police officer who joined Morgan’s group while he was searching for the love of his life, June. Garrett Dillahunt has appeared in several TV shows over the years, including Burn Notice, Deadwood, and recently, The Gifted. But aside from Fear the Walking Dead, he’s perhaps most well known for playing Burt Chance on Raising Hope.

Jenna Elfman as June Dorie: June is a former nurse who has taken on a leadership role in the group, and is now married to John. Jenna Elfman landed a handful of starring roles on TV in the 2000s and 2010s, but she’ll always be remembered for playing Dharma in the sitcom Dharma & Greg, which earned her a Golden Globe and multiple Emmy nominations.

Ruben Blades as Daniel Salazar: Like Alicia, Daniel has been around since the very beginning, though he’s developed a reputation for disappearing after near-death experiences only to return at a later point. Ruben Blades is a famed musician and politician in Panama, but is known for his many movies roles in Hollywood, starring in everything from Predator 2 to Safe House, to The Counselor.

Karen David as Grace: Grace used to work at a nuclear power plant and spent her years in the apocalypse preventing it from melting down. She’s since developed a relationship with Morgan. Karen David has appeared in a variety of movies over the years, but is most known for starring in Waterloo Road, Legacies, and even Once Upon a Time, in which she played a live-action Princess Jasmine.

Mo Collins as Sarah Rabinowitz: Sarah is a former Marine whose initial introduction was more antagonistic, but she’s now a core part of Morgan’s group. She and her brother, Wendell, have been doing whatever it takes to survive the zombie apocalypse. Mo Collins is a known comedian who was part of the Mad TV cast. She’s since appeared in several comedy shows before landing a main role on Fear the Walking Dead.

Alexa Nisenson as Charlie: Charlie is a former member of the Vultures who has been trying to atone for killing Nick in season 4. She’s developed a close friendship with Daniel, who looks after her like a father. Alexa Nisenson had a few guest-starring roles on TV before joining Fear the Walking Dead, but she’s still most well known for playing Charlie.

Colby Hollman as Wes: Wes is a survivor who befriended Alicia and is now a part of Morgan’s group. Colby Hollman’s breakout role has been Wes on Fear the Walking Dead. His only other credit prior to the joining the series is the short film Funny How Things Happen.

Colby Minifie as Virginia: Virginia is the apparent leader of the Pioneers and currently the series’ main villain. She shot Morgan in the season 5 finale and is now holding his group prisoner. Colby Minife guest-starred on several TV shows throughout the 2010s but can be easily recognized for playing Ashley on The Boys.

Fear The Walking Dead Season 6 New Characters

Demetrius Grosse as Josiah LaRoux: Josiah is a bounty hunter who, true to his chosen profession, can find anyone whether they’re dead or alive. He’s hired to find Morgan and confirm whether or not Morgan is indeed dead. Demetrius Grosse is recognizable for portraying Rock in Straight Outta Compton as well as appearing in TV shows such as Justified, Banshee, and Heroes.

Christine Evangelista as Sherry: Sherry is Dwight’s wife who has been missing since before the war with the Saviors on The Walking Dead. She left Negan and fled the area, hoping to survive. She’s been leaving clues for Dwight and will now be reunited with him. Christine Evangelista has starred in a handful of movies and shows over the years, but can be recognized for playing Megan Morrison on The Arrangement.

Zoe Colletti as Dakota: Dakota is a member of the Pioneers and Virginia’s cousin. Zoe Colletti recently starred in Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark and City on a Hill, but Fear the Walking Dead could be her breakout role.
