Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker’s next major update, Patch 6.1, will soon be available to all fans, featuring numerous changes, including to its Trust system. The most recent expansion brought about an end to the Hydaelyn and Zodiark conflict. Players will be able to experience the start of a brand new adventure, as the Warrior of Light is called upon once again. Perceptive fans may have some ideas about what to expect in the update because FFXIV: Endwalker‘s ending hinted at the story update and future Main Scenario Quests. Along with the continuation of the story, additional content for both hardcore and casual players will be released later this month.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Patch 6.1 promises to be a big step in developing a more tailored RPG experience for individual fans. Starting with A Realm Reborn, duties will become Trust compatible. While players can still party with other adventurers, they will now have the option to complete this content with Trust NPCs. The new more casual-friendly PvP mode, the Crystal Conflict, is also coming in the next update. This quick game mode will feature two teams of 5v5 competing to push a crystal into their opponent’s goal. Players that want more of a challenge should be excited for the introduction of another Extreme Trial, called The Minstrel’s Ballad: Endsinger’s Aria. Game Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida detailed everything confirmed in FFXIV: Endwalker Patch 6.1, ahead of this release.

A new trailer revealed that April 12, 2022, is the date fans have been waiting for. In the video, adventurers can see glimpses of the MSQ, Crystal Conflict, and other additional content. Patch 6.1 will also bring Part 1 of Endwalker‘s first 24-player Alliance Raid, Myths of the Realm. More will be uncovered about the mysterious divinities known as the Twelve, and players should start preparing now, as Mr. Yoshida announced that the maintenance for Patch 6.1 will last a full 24 hours.

When Adventurers Can Expect To Play FFXIV: Endwalker Patch 6.1

While the maintenance will be on April 11, 2022, an exact time was not given in the trailer. However, the 24-hour period of server downtime is consistent with major updates of the past, such as FFXIV Endwalker‘s Patch 6.0. If the start time is the same as it was for 6.0 as well, fans can expect the maintenance to start around 1:00 AM PT on April 11 and end at 1:00 AM on April 12. For American players in other time zones, they can expect the servers to be down at 4:00 AM ET and 3:00 AM CT. This means the update will start for EU players at 8:00 AM GMT and 5:00 PM JST for Japanese adventurers. Regardless of the time zone, the maintenance will still take 24 hours to complete.

Patch 6.1 will bring many changes to FFXIV as a whole. Endwalker was FFXIV’s best expansion yet, and the next update will hopefully continue this trend. New content will be added for every type of player, with the focus on creating a better RPG experience for all. Adventurers can look forward to enjoying everything FFXIV: Endwalker Patch 6.1 has to offer on April 12, 2022.
