The players involved are also reportedly offering others KFC’s $5 Fill-Up boxes – a menu item that includes options such as chicken, sides, and a drink. The event is ripe for quirky encounters and hijinks, as players are spotting the chicken-chasing Colonel Sanders randomly while minding their own business or even after leaving their characters idle. Reddit users are joking about the stunt, such as remarking “Chicken of Light” and “Warrior of Flight” – both of which are fun riffs on the Final Fantasy XIV moniker “Warrior of Light.”
