The Brand-new War armor set in Final Fantasy XIV is one of the best starter gear sets for new players going through the Main Scenario Quests or MSQ. A new Duty will become available, and the player can officially commence their training. While most players will have likely grasped the basics of Final Fantasy XIV‘s combat by Level 15, the Hall of the Novice is an excellent introduction to the essential mechanics of party-based battle.

After completing each DPS training challenge, the player will receive a reward: the first pair of Brand-new Gloves in Final Fantasy XIV. The final Duty will reward the player with the aforementioned Brand-new Ring. Remember that, even after the player character is higher than Level 30, the ring can be used in Duties that “scale down” below Level 30. In other words, it still can provide the same XP boost effect in a lower-level dungeon-like Copperbell Mines.
