Final Fantasy XIV continues to provide new content to its players through massive expansions. The Heroes’ Gauntlet itself is basically a boss rush mode in Norvrandt. Players will be facing off against three different bosses while fighting smaller mobs along the way. This is a level 80 dungeon that was introduced within the Shadowbringers expansion. Players will challenge the Spectral Thief, Spectral Necromancer, and Spectral Berseker along the way. Each boss comes along with their own strategy to take it down. Although, the player will need to unlock this area first before challenging any boss. Here’s how players can unlock the Heroes’ Gauntlet.

How To Unlock The Heroes’ Gauntlet in Final Fantasy XIV

To unlock the Heroes’ Gauntlet, the player first needs to be around level 80. Players will need a paid subscription since the free trial ends when the player reaches level 50. The Heroes’ Gauntlet will be a part of the quest ‘The Converging Light’. First, speak to Chai-Nuzz at the Eulmore Aetheryte Plaza in Eulmore. This will begin the quest. Then, the player must complete the main scenario quest ‘Etched in the Stars’. The main scenario is full of cutscenes with interesting lore and context but can be time-consuming so if the player is running short of time, skipping the cutscenes is recommended. Now, the player will be able to access the Heroes’ Gauntlet.

Final Fantasy XIV originally released to a massive backlash both critically and commercially. This caused Square Enix to return back to the drawing board and decide to reboot the game entirely. The game has an event where the entire world within it was completely destroyed. The game returned as Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, the version of the game everyone knows at this point. With these massive changes, the game is now one of the most popular MMORPGs on the market and continues to sell millions of expansions when new ones release every two years. The game managed to come back from the dead stronger than ever. That is the power of the Final Fantasy team.

Final Fantasy XIV is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC.
