Flip or Flop: Ant Anstead Attends Gala With Girlfriend Renèe Zellweger

New couple Renee Zellweger and Ant Anstead, the ex-husband of Flip or Flop star Christina Haack, attended their first public event together over the weekend. The former Wheelers Dealers host joined the Academy Award winner, 52, at the Radford Motors gala on Saturday night, which was held at the Lyons Air Museum in Santa Ana, California. The 42-year-old car connoisseur is part of a group working to revive the legacy motor brand and was present to reveal the new Lotus Type 62-2 race car, which Anstead wrote on social media was a culmination of a ‘lifetime of dreaming.’

Anstead and real estate investor-turned-HGTV star Haack shocked fans when they first announced their split in September of 2020 after less than two years of marriage. The new couple was first linked to each other back in June, just days after Anstead’s divorce from Haack was finalized. Anstead reportedly met the Judy actress back in May while filming the upcoming Discovery+ series Celebrity IOU: Joyride, set to premiere later this month, which will see Anstead and co-host Cristy Lee helping their celebrity guests surprise family members and friends with their dream cars.

As reported in Page Six, the newly minted couple turned heads at the lavish event, donning their best black-tie attire and posing with the event’s other attendees. The car specialist shared photos from the evening on his Instagram story, including one in which the couple posed with Real Housewives of Orange County alum Lydia McLaughlin and her husband, Doug. The Bridget Jones’s Diary actress wore a silky, structured black gown complete with pockets and matching stilettos while the event co-host Anstead was pictured looking dapper in a sleek tailored tuxedo. Also in attendance at the event was Haack’s other ex-husband, Flip or Flop costar Tarek El Moussa, along with his fiancee, Selling Sunset star Heather Rae Young.

ThoughAnstead and the Jerry Maguire star have only been publicly dating for a few months, the pair have not been shy about engaging in PDA in front of the paparazzi cameras. As another testament to the couple’s seriousness, the decorated actress, who was previously linked to musician Doyle Bramhall II from 2012 to 2019, has reportedly met the son Anstead shares with Haack, 23-month-old Hudson.

Anstead is also the father to two teenagers, Amelie and Archie, with his first wife, Louise Anstead. For her part, Flip or Flop star Haack is also in a new relationship and has been photographed with her new realtor beau, Josh Hall.
