When Floribama Shore first made its debut on MTV on November 27, 2017, fans saw basically another version of the popular show, Jersey Shore, but this time set in Florida. Despite the change in location, the series featured the same drunken antics and fights fans expected from the Jersey Shore cast, though this time insults were given in a southern drawl rather than a New Jersey accent. Just like the cast of any reality show, the cast of Floribama Shore is paid for their appearance on the series.

With Floribama Shore currently airing its fourth season on MTV, viewers love to see how the cast has evolved since the show first started airing. The cast consists of Nilsa Prowant, Jeremiah Buoni, Aimee Hall, Kirk Medas, Codi Butts, Gus Smyrnios, Candace Rice, and Kortni Gilson, though she didn’t return for season four. Although the majority of the cast aren’t the same people they were when viewers first saw them on TV, fans still love to watch them nonetheless.

The exact amount of money the Floribama Shore cast gets paid is unknown. However, the salary of the Jersey Shore cast gives some clues as to what each cast member might be making. During the first season of Jersey Shore, Snooki was making roughly $2,000 per episode (via The Things). However, the show skyrocketed in popularity, and by the finale, some of the most popular cast members were easily making six figures. According to Distractify, by the time Jersey Shore was in its 6th season, the lowest amount of money a cast member made was $40,000.

Of course, Floribama Shore isn’t nearly as popular as Jersey Shore. However, it’s safe to assume the cast is making more than the $2,000 Snooki made in 2009, but less than the $40,000 even the least popular cast member made in the final seasons. A conservative guess would be about $20,000 per episode, but the number likely varies based on the cast member’s population. Still, if the Floribama Shore cast is making close to that much, they are sitting just fine in life, even though some of them do still live at home or were roommates outside of filming the show.

Despite getting paid to appear on the show, most of the cast members pursue other jobs while not filming the MTV series. Nilsa recently started an online clothing and accessory business called Shop Nilsa Prowant, while Jeremiah also made a side career out of his fitness and meal plans. Most of the cast will be all right if the show does get canceled in the future.

Floribama Shore airs Thursdays at 8 PM ET on MTV.
