Floribama Shore: Nilsa Prowant Is Officially Married To Gus Gazda

Nilsa Prowant, star of MTV’s Floribama Shore, is officially a married woman. Over the weekend, the 27-year-old tied the knot with Gus Gazda, with whom she welcomed son Gray Allen Gazda earlier this year. Throughout her life, Nilsa has experienced her share of heartbreak and deceit in relationships. But now, the reality TV personality has finally found her happily ever after. Co-stars and fans alike are thrilled for Nilsa as she sets out on this next chapter of life as a wife and mother.

For Nilsa, this is her second time saying, “I do.” At the age of 20, she married James Anderson, a soldier in the U.S. Army, and became pregnant. However, Nilsa’s life quickly turned upside down when she not only suffered a miscarriage, but found out her husband was cheating. They divorced soon after. Next, upon getting casted for Floribama Shore, Nilsa and castmate Gus Smyrnios enjoyed a flirty connection and hooked up twice since the show’s premiere in 2017. This didn’t turn into anything serious, and Nilsa began dating Gus Gazda, known as “Gus 2.0,” toward the end of 2019. The pair got engaged in January 2020 and, on May 20, 2021, welcomed baby Gray, who entered the world at 1:56 a.m. weighing 7 lb., 14 oz.

On Nov. 21, Nilsa shared on Instagram a stunning photo from her big day, which took place at the scenic Sheraton Panama City Beach Golf & Spa Resort. As the sun sets, Nilsa and Gus are endearingly looking into each other’s eyes. Her dress, from Tiffinie Bleu Bridal, features lace details and a flowing train. Nilsa’s Floribama Shore girls Candace Rice and Aimee Hall, who Nilsa previously revealed were to be bridesmaids, reflected on the affair with joy. Candace said, “Congratulations!! Everything was sooo perfect!,” with three heart-eye emojis, while Aimee said, “Love y’all was such a beautiful wedding.” Even Jersey Shore‘s Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Double Shot At Love‘s B-Lashes commented their well wishes.

According to Nilsa, more photos are forthcoming this week. Her followers can’t wait to see more highlights, especially ones that show the rest of Nilsa’s Floribama Shore crew. It’s been confirmed that Candace and Aimee were present, as well as Codi Butts, who Nilsa featured in an unsurprising Instagram Story. As Codi walks toward Nilsa, she asks him, “Codi, did you throw up at my wedding?” He responds, “Yes.” Nilsa then asks, “Did you get cut off from the bar?” Another, “Yes.” Fans know and love Codi as the “puke and rally” king, and wouldn’t expect anything less. The only co-star who revealed he didn’t get an invite was Gus. Given his past fling with the bride, this isn’t entirely surprising.

While no relationship is perfect, it seems these newlyweds complement each other well. Throughout the duration of her pregnancy, Nilsa was vocal about the intense anxiety and depression she experienced, largely due to the recent death of her father. During these dark days, Nilsa explained how Gus Gazda was right by her side and didn’t shame her for feeling these emotions. She previously said, “I could not ask for a better partner to be on this journey with.” Hopefully, just as viewers were able to watch the emotional nuptials of Jersey Shore‘s Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino to his wife Lauren, they can witness the union of Nilsa and Gus on an upcoming season of Floribama Shore.
