Guest characters have become the most anticipated content for every season of Fortnite, especially when it comes to comic book characters. Whether it is through a purchasable DLC or the Battle Pass, the comic book characters end up becoming some of the most used skins in the game.

Marvel has crossed over with Fortnite many times, even dedicating an entire season to have only Marvel heroes in the Battle Pass. From heroes to villains, there have been many quality skins for Marvel fans to enjoy whilst playing through the Battle Royale mode.

10 Groot

Technically, this counts as two characters in one: Groot was unlocked at Level 38 of the Battle Pass but if the player accomplished Groot’s special quests, a pet was unlocked. This turned out to be Rocket Raccoon and the two translated rather well to Fortnite‘s cartoonish art style.

Groot also sported back bling in the form of a dancing Baby Groot along with branch-like harvesting tools, making one of the few times a harvesting tool fits a character in both concept and visual style.

9 Deadpool

Everyone’s favorite fourth-wall breaker was the star guest character in Fortnite‘s Season 2 of Chapter 2. From his zany hideout in the main menu to his comedic quests, Deadpool made quite the splash when he arrived. He was another character where his back blind and harvesting tool matched the character perfectly.

The Merc With A Mouth sported his classic red outfit, his famous alternate grey and black skin from his X-Force comics, and an alternate skin featuring a maskless Wade Wilson. The only flaw was that like all characters in Fortnite, he could not speak but his antics still made players laugh.

8 Daredevil

During the height of Chapter 2’s Marvel-centric Season 4, Daredevil sadly was not available for Battle Pass but was instead a DLC bundle in the in-game item shop. For 1500 V-Bucks, Daredevil came with his signature batons, a devil-themed glider, and back bling in the form of his echo-location.

Though he only featured one alternate skin, it was a welcomed one that was his base skin but in a cell-shaded art style to resemble the comics.

7 Doctor Doom

One of Marvel’s quintessential villains was one of the more sought-after characters during Season 4 of Chapter 2. From his iconic green cape to his ominous metal mask, Doctor Doom was so legendary that an entire Latverian section was implemented into the map

The inclusion of his staff and the ability to sit on a throne as an emote led to fans loving this character’s inclusion. Unfortunately, like most characters from that Season, he was only unlockable through the Battle Pass so now players have to hope that Doctor Doom drops in the item shop to be purchased with V-bucks.

6 Iron Man

During the Marvel season, Tony Stark was an unlockable skin with the genius billionaire playboy philanthropist in his skin-tight suit. By completing Tony Stark’s challenges, it would unlock an emote that would transform him into the Invincible Iron Man.

The Iron Man suit is directly inspired by Robert Downey Jr.’s final appearance as Iron Man in Avengers: Endgame. It even featured nanotech weaponry such as an energy blade harvesting tool and flight wings.

5 Blade

Like most Blade products, it takes after the Wesley Snipes portrayal which was so beloved that even the comic books ended up rebooting in the style of the Wesley Snipes Blade films. For a whopping 2000 V-Bucks, Blade can be purchased when available again in the Item Shop.

Blade comes with his famous trenchcoat look but that can be changed to his vest-only design sporting arm tattoos. Both versions feature the red sunglasses of the comic book and his harvesting tool is, of course, the silver-tipped sword which he is named after.

4 She-Hulk

Rather than the typical choice of including The Incredible Hulk, he was swapped out for his equally effective cousin: She-Hulk. Like Tony Stark, she begins as mild-mannered Jen Walters but upon completing her challenges, she is given an emote that allows her to unleash her rage and transform into She-Hulk.

Sadly, she does not feature her gamma-born strength of the comics but she does feature court mallets as harvesting tools. Her alternate skin gives Jen Walters a red and black color scheme which fits with her She-Hulk form, transforming her into the Red She-Hulk of the comics.

3 Wolverine

Of all the X-Men, it comes as no surprise that Wolverine was chosen for Fortnite with his classic yellow and blue suit, his alternate yellow and brown suit, and his Logan guise with jeans and tank top. Wolverine did not come with a harvesting tool because it was unlocked as an emote, allowing Wolverine to extend his claws from his knuckles.

Still, the many looks of Wolverine gave fans many choices that appealed to different generations and demographics in the fanbase. Fans of the comics can appreciate his back bling being the destroyed head of a Sentinel, acting like a trophy for Logan.

2 Black Panther

As part of the Marvel Royalty And Warriors Pack, Black Panther was introduced to Fortnite alongside Captain Marvel and Taskmaster. It was only months after the tragic passing of Chadwick Boseman that this skin was added, taking inspiration from his design mixed with their own flavor.

His back blind happens to be the famous high-collared cape from the comics, Wakandan swords for harvesting tools, and featured a “Wakanda Forever” salute emote. There was even a Wakanda section added to the Fortnite map during the Marvel season.

1 Venom

Some characters instantly draw audiences and Venom is one of them. Venom was introduced in the Item Shop for 2000 V-Bucks and that gives players the classic Venom that everyone knows and loves. However, he also featured his Extreme alternate skin which gives him a scarier, more graphic design with a heavy emphasis on his alien biology.

Venom was given a fitting back blind in the form of symbiote tendrils with his harvesting tool being a symbiote-formed scythe similar to Riot would create in the Venom film. The detail and animation of Venom are commendable with both skins being a treat for the eyes.
