In celebration of the new MCU release, Fortnite is adding Spider-Man: No Way Home skins for Tom Holland’s webslinger and Zendaya’s MJ. Spider-Man joined the Fortnite roster earlier this month amid the arrival of Chapter 3; naturally, such an addition brought web-swinging gameplay mechanics to the popular online title.

Epic Games’ long-awaited launch of Fortnite Chapter 3 introduced a whole host of other neat additions as well, including a brand-new map replete with varied biomes and noteworthy points of interest. On top of web-swinging, sliding also entered the mix, allowing players to further experiment with the battle royale’s suite of baked-in gameplay mechanics. Fortnite received a Tent feature, too, which unlocks camping-based functions such as storing weapons and healing boosts. The fresh mechanics all have their own unique benefits but, as always, the new skins in Fortnite drives much of the excitement with regards to content drops.

Fortnite’s Winterfest 2021 has officially kicked off and, by day’s end, will present players with a few Spider-Man: No Way Home skins. The MCU-inspired content enters the Item Shop later today, December 16, at 7:00 PM ET, just in time for the eagerly-anticipated film’s theatrical release. Epic Games detailed the forthcoming offerings on its official website, confirming that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man and Zendaya’s MJ are inbound. Spidey, in particular, is receiving two skins – Holland’s “Integrated” No Way Home attire and the Black and Gold Suit. Better still, both will come with a built-in Emote enabling users to unmask the friendly neighborhood hero. See the new Spider-Man and MJ skins in motion in the following Winterfest 2021 teaser:

The imminent release of these Fortnite cosmetics comes on the heels of Marvel’s Spider-Man receiving No Way Home suits of its own on December 10. Much to the chagrin of PS4 players, however, the bonus outfits are exclusive to Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on PS5.

Spider-Man counts as just one of the many comic book characters to appear in Fortnite this year. On the DC side of things, heroes such as Beast Boy, Raven, and Superman joined the roster earlier this year. As far as Spider-Man’s fellow Marvel characters are concerned, Loki entered the fray a few months ago, with Shang-Chi coming on board with a cosmetic bundle just in time for the hero’s debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Fortnite is available as a free-to-play title across Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Android devices.
