Fortnite introduces the Agent Meowscles for players that own the battle pass. This guide will help players unlock this muscular cat-human hybrid. Fortnite skins pretty much carry the entire reason why players should purchase a battle pass. Players can customize their characters based on the items they collect by leveling up to higher tiers. Some characters are locked behind certain tiers and require large amounts of experience to unlock. The more fancy and elaborate skins are made more difficult to unlock and require players to put dozens of hours into the game. This is how the developer, Riot Games, keeps attention on the game. The game even partners up with other licensed characters like Marvel and DC. Recently, Deadpool from Marvel made his way to Fortnite as a skin. Thanos was even playable as a character in previous seasons of Fortnite. Players were able to pick up the legendary Infinity Gauntlet and transform into the mad titan for a limited time. Through this, they were able to jump massive heights and shoot a powerful laser at upcoming enemies. Fortnite has always veered on the stranger side of things and has been one of the more fun battle royales games to release because of it. One of the most popular skins to come out of Fortnite season 2 would be Meowscles and this guide will help players understand what it takes to unlock this powerful but adorable creature.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Agent Meowscles has been teased at for a while in Fortnite, even since way back in Season 7 of the original Fortnite before the island exploded in a black hole. During some of the load screens, the Feline By Design Loading Screen would appear and show a concept art of a buff cat. This cat was later added into the game as a skin that players can unlock, several seasons and an entirely new chapter later. There are also several versions of the Meowscles skin to unlock, some more difficult than others. He also comes with a built-in emote called Flex, where he flexes his large human-cat muscles. If players explore the Yacht, they can find on a dartboard that he dislikes Doggo, another skin where players can transform into a dog. Unfortunately, the skin was a part of a massive Fortnite leak that took place at the end of chapter 2, season 1. This guide will explain what it takes to unlock the Meowsicles skin and its variants in Fortnite.

Unlocking The Meowscles Skin in Fortnite

For starters, it is required that the player has purchased the battle pass. They can purchase the battle pass by either spending real-life money or collecting enough V-bucks from completing challenges. The Agent Meowscles skin was introduced in Fortnite chapter 2, season 2 and can be unlocked at Level 60 of the battle pass. When the player purchases the battle pass, the theme for this season is a spy and the player will be given an option to select between two different factions, Ghost or Shadow. Depending on which faction the player selects, the skin for Meowscles will look different. The Shadow Agent Meowscles skin bears black fur with a scare over its red eyes. The Ghost Meowscles skin has white fur with diamond-shaped eyes and a blue backpack. There is also another variant of Agent Meowsicle that is much harder to unlock when compared to the other two.

The Golden Agent Meowscles is entirely made of gold with a neutral face so it is not aligned with any specific faction for the spy games. To unlock the Golden Agent Meowscles skin, the player must reach level 180 during Fortnite chapter 2, season 2. Normally, cosmetics end once the player reaches level 100 in a season for the battle pass, but this one goes way further beyond this number. The best way to go about unlocking the Meowscles skin is to complete the daily and weekly challenges that come along with the battle pass. While most players will go about doing this anyway to unlock each of the skins on their battle pass, level 60 is pretty high and these are the fastest ways to unlock experience. Here are all the currently active challenges for this season’s battle pass.

It really comes down to the player’s preference. Would they rather unlock the skin through grinding through these challenges? Or would they rather save time and have the skin as soon as possible? In Fortnite, the player is given the decision to decide where they spend their time and resources. By doing this, Fortnite maintains its grip as the most popular battle royale game in the world.

Fortnite is available now on PC, Mac, Xbox One, Playstation 4, iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch.
