Fortnite: IO Titan Tank Guide (Locations & How to Use Them)

The IO Titan Tank is easily one of the strongest vehicles in Fortnite, discovering their locations and how to drive them will make it much easier to claim the victory royale. With Fortnite chapter 3 season 2 just beginning, players are eager to complete challenges, collect kills, and explore all the new changes on the map. Arguably the biggest change to come to the game is the lack of building, the mechanic that Fortnite has been known for. One of the smaller changes this season has been the inclusion of the new IO Titan Tanks. While IO Guards have been a prevalent part of the game for several seasons, the IO Titan Tank is their strongest weapon yet.

With the IO Titan Tank, players are able to destroy structures and an enemy’s health bar with every little effort. There are four different seating options available. The first is the driver, who is also in charge of aiming the large cannon in the front. Although, it’s a bit difficult to aim this cannon since the reticle likes to move around sporadically. The other three seats are on the top of the tank, with two just allowing teammates to sit while the third man the turret. It has 2,000 HP, making it fairly difficult to destroy without explosives.

In order to find an IO Titan Tank, the player will need to go to the locations that are currently being controlled by IO Forces. In these areas, the player will typically need to take down the IO Guards to steal their tank. Alternatively, players can just run by, claim it, and quickly drive away. Fortunately, these IO Camps are fairly common around Fortnite island.

In the opposite scenario where an enemy player has access to the IO Titan Tank, the player should always run Hide behind nearby structures or locate a functional vehicle to getaway. Attempting to battle the IO Titan Tank is incredibly difficult head-on due to its firepower and massive health bar. Rather, using the game’s Remote Bomb Explosives can do a ton of damage to their haul. If the Titan Tank reaches zero HP, it will explode, damaging everyone on the inside. There’s a reason why it’s considered one of the best weapons in Fortnite. Players can collect potentially dozens of kills without having to leave the IO Titan Tank.
