Finding Scuba Jonesy is essential in Fortnite Season 8. This season is handling its Battle Pass a bit differently. Instead of receiving weekly Epic and Legendary quests, players will be given a Weekly and Daily Punch card. These each come with three challenges separately that need to be completed before the timer runs out. These will net players the greatest amount of XP for their Battle Pass. This is vital for unlocking the new Carnage skin that appears on page 10 of the Battle Star rewards.

In addition to the Weekly and Daily Punch Cards, there are also new Character-specific quests. If players scroll to the right of the Quests tab, a long list of characters will require players to complete quests for them. One of these characters is Scuba Jonesy. Like the other Fortnite Season 8 NPCs, Scuba Jonesy has five different challenges for players to complete. To begin them, players will need to find and speak to Scuba Jonesy.

Fortunately, Fortnite does a great job of showing the exact location where players can find Scuba Jonesy, along with all the other Season 8 NPCs. From the Quest tab, players can highlight Scuba Jonesy, and his exact location will be pinned on the map. This can be done from the main menu.

Where To Find Scuba Jonesy in Fortnite (Season 8)

Players will be able to encounter Scuba Jonesy to the west of Coral Castle. He will be on a beach off the coast of this Named Location. Players can speak with him and accept his questline. When selecting the first task to “Swim at both Lake Canoe and Lazy Lake,” players will notice they will be rewarded 20 gold. While this is true, players also will earn XP for completing this task.

These are all of the Scuba Jonesy challenges and what players will earn for completing them.

  • Swim at both Lake Canoe and Lazy Lake: 12k XP
  • Submerge a driven vehicle into a large body of water: 14k XP
  • Throw a fish back in the water: 16k XP
  • Hunt one wildlife: 18k XP
  • Consume fish and meat in a single match: 20k XP.

Players will earn XP for completing these quests, which can help them level up in the Battle Pass and earn more Battle Stars.

It’s important to mention that players are only able to follow five questlines at a time. Players also need to only visit the character once. Once one of these challenges is completed, the next one will automatically unlock without requiring a second visit to Scuba Jonesy. Other characters like Charlotte, Baba Yaga, Mad Cap, and Toona Fish have similar Punch Card questlines. Players should complete every single one of them to maximize the XP gains during Fortnite Season 8. More Punch Cards will likely be made available as the season progresses.

Fortnite is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
