Rumors are quickly spreading that a female Oro skin is coming to Fortnite. The legendary outfit first appeared in Epic’s popular battle royale in March 2020 and was available in the Item Shop as recently as last month. The Skeleton King was first released in Chapter 2: Season 2 as part of Midas’ Revenge set.

Fortnite offered new challenges to mark the debut of its Skeleton King with the Awaken Oro challenge set. The Oro skin is a Legendary Outfit that players could purchase from the Item Shop for 2,000 V Bucks ($20). Once completed, the challenges came with some nice rewards, including an Oro-themed pickaxe, weapon or vehicle wrap. Fortnite is currently in Season 6, which officially launched back in March, and this current season has not disappointed. Season 6 has advanced Epic’s glowing reputation for crossover content. The latest example of this is the hit crossover between DC Comics and Fortnite. Additionally, a collaboration with global soccer superstar Neymar Jr. was confirmed just last month. The Brazilian is one of the most well-known celebrities on the planet, amassing over 130 million Instagram followers and over 50 million Twitter followers. Fortnite‘s collaboration with Neymar Jr. will only enhance Fortnite‘s popularity, particularly in South America and across Europe.

DualShockers reports that Fortnite fans are convinced that a female Oro skin is coming to the battle royale. It has also been suggested that the original Oro skin could make a reappearance alongside a female counterpart. Either way, Epic has something planned for its popular Oro skin. Fortnite posted a teaser for its upcoming update on its official Twitter account. This tweet has only intensified the rumors. The new Fortnite update is planned to go live on May 11. Downtime is scheduled to begin at 4 AM ET or 1 AM PT.

In addition to the impressive Neymar Jr. collaboration, Fortnite has also teamed up with DC Comics. The Zero Point #1 series is already proving to be quite popular with fans of both franchises. Fans are thoroughly enjoying watching Batman take the most unlikely advantages in his bid to restore his memory and escape Fortnite‘s seemingly endless loop of battles. Also, the romance between Batman and Catwoman has been well-received. The series is canon as well, providing a useful glimpse into the possibilities of future crossovers between the two immensely popular franchises.

While players are still enjoying everything Season 6 has on offer, Epic has already been planning for the next season. Season 7 is expected to drop sometime in June. Players can rest assured that there will no shortage of new content on the way.
