The second set of character skin variant challenges are here in FortniteChapter 2 Season 2, and this week’s challenges will unlock players the new TNTina Ghost or Shadow skin variant. The last set of challenges was to unlock the Shadow or Ghost version of Brutus, and the TNTina challenges look as if they are following the same pattern.

To unlock the new TNTina skin players will need to complete 18 of the 20 TNTina’s Trial challenges. Ten challenges are available right now for players to complete, and 10 more will unlock the following week for players to complete. Once these challenges are complete, players will then choose which skin variant they wish to unlock and will then be faced with a secret spy themed task to complete in order to unlock the new skin variant.

Complete TNTina’s Trial Challenges in Fortnite

The first phase of the TNTina Trials is to complete 18 of 20 TNTina challenges. Right now players are only able to complete 10 until the other 10 are unlocked in the previous week. TNTina’s challenges are relatively simple and similar to Brutus’s challenges most of them can be completed by playing Fortnite normally. Here are the first 10 challenges that players are tasked with completing:

  • Eliminate players using explosive (5)
  • Search Chest at Holly Hedges or Retail Row (10)
  • Destroy structures with Propane Tanks (10)
  • Catch Air with a Motorboat (5)
  • Visit different Landmarks (15)
  • Use Upgrade Bench to sidegrade a weapon (3)
  • Deal damage to Bosses (500)
  • Land at The Rig, Hydro 16, and Logjam Woodworks (3)
  • Destroy Sentry Cameras or Sentry Turrets (5)
  • Eliminate players without using shield or healing items in between eliminations (2)

Tips and Tricks to complete TNTina Trials in Fortnite

While most of these challenges are incredibly simple here are a few tips and tricks to help complete some that you may prove to be a bit of a challenge.

Propane Tanks: finding propane tanks to use to destroy structures may be a big challenge if you do not know where to look. The best place to find propane tanks is The Rig which is also the home of TNTina. The rig is covered in propane tanks that players can destroy in order to complete this challenge.

Sidegrade Weapons: This is a functionality that was added to weapon workbenches halfway through Chapter 2 Season 1. Instead of outright upgrading some weapons such as assault rifles and SMGs, players can now use workbenches to sidegrade weapons. This will change a weapons class i.e. from a normal assault rifle to a heavy assault rifle.
