Torin’s location is needed to complete her challenges in Fortnite. Season 8 is handling how players can level up a bit differently this time around. Instead of completing a set number of weekly challenges, players are now able to complete Daily and Weekly Punchcards. Although, Fortnite also introduced Character Punchcards. Each character within the Quest tab has a handful of tasks for players to complete while on the battlefield. In order to start them, players will first need to find the character on the map.

Torin is the main character of the Monster Research questline. These are all the challenges and rewards players will earn for completing their tasks.

  • Enter the Sideways: 12k XP.
  • Collect a Sideways weapon: 14k XP.
  • Deal 100 damage to players with a Sideways weapon: 16k XP.
  • Eliminate ten cube monsters in The Sideways: 18k XP.
  • Complete a Sideways encounter: 20k XP.

The Sideways is a new location on the map that sends players to an alternate dimension where monsters wreak havoc. Not only that but gravity is altered to make players jump higher than usual. Before players enter the Sideways, they will need to find Torin first.

Torin Location in Fortnite

Fortunately, players can head over to the Quest tab and highlight Torin to point out her exact location on the map. Players will be able to find Torin towards the center of the map. Players of season 7 will recognize the location as where the Spire used to be located. She will be wandering about in a purple field next to an older building. Speak with her and accept the quest to begin this chain of challenges.

It’s important to mention that players are only able to carry 5 Character Punchcard quests at a time. In order to begin Torin’s quests, players will need to complete what they already have. This is one of the best ways for players to earn Battle Stars for this season’s battle pass. More Character Punchcards will be available as the season progresses. If players are skilled enough, they will be able to complete all of Torin’s quests within a single visit to the Sideways. Its exact location changes with every match, but players will know where to land once the game begins. There will be a large red circle on the map. Just land in this location and begin the fight within the Sideways. These monsters are incredibly dangerous so it’s important to prepare with shields and weapons before the encounter.
