Fortnite: Where to Collect Books from Holly Hedges & Sweaty Sands (Week 7 Challenge)

It’s a new week of challenges in Fortnite as we are now seven weeks into Season 5. With the addition of all sorts of new content, Fortnite continues to roll out updates, patches, and additions to keep their dedicated fanbase happy. They can even create custom crosshairs now!  This week will have players venturing to Holly Hedges and Sweaty Sands, searching for some light reading material.

One important thing to note is that more than 5 books are scattered around the two specific locations. Players will not have to scour every inch of land to find that final book. There are plenty of books to find during each game to allow multiple players to complete the challenge. Here’s how to easily complete the week seven challenge in Fortnite.

Fortnite Season 5 – Week 7 Challenge – Find Books in Sweaty Sands & Holly Hedges

It’s best to get these challenges out of the way at the beginning of each week. That way, players can effectively grind XP towards the battle pass to take full advantage of everything Fortnite season 5 offers. Each week comes with multiple challenges; finding books is just one. For starters, players should land in Holly Hedges or Sweaty Sands off the jump. There’s no sense in trying to complete these challenges during the mid/end-game.

While there are a handful of book locations around each POI on the map, there are three in each that will have books pop up regularly.

In Sweaty Sands:

• Directly under the ‘S’ in Sands
• House underneath the ‘D’ in Sands
• South of the ‘D’ in Sands 

In Holly Hedges:

• Above the ‘Y’ in Holly
• Under the ‘G’ in Hedges
• South of the ‘E’ in Hedges

Ideally, players should land on one of these 6 houses to find a book along with some decent loot. Be careful; there will be multiple other players landing here looking to do the same thing. The books are small and can be easily missed. Players must keep their eyes glued to the ground if they hope to find the 5 books they need quickly. They may be tucked away in a corner or underneath a flight of status. The video below from YouTuber Perfect Score does a great job of showing what these books look like when on the ground.

Other than finding books in Holly Hedges and Sweaty Sands, players will also have multiple other challenges to complete:

• Visit Houses in Slurpy Swamp in One Match (2)
• Consume Shield Potions (3)
• Destroy Slurp Barrels (10)
• Search Chests in Slurpy Swamp (7)
• Gain Max Shields in a Single Match (1)
• Eliminations with Zero Shield (1)

There’s going to be a lot going on in Slurpy Swamp this week, so be prepared for a fight if the squad plans to land there. Of course, players could use this Slurpy Swamp distraction to quickly loot Holly Hedges and Sweaty Sands to find the proper reading material and weapons. Keep on the lookout for the official Predator crossover coming soon to Fortnite, as well as Bigfoot roaming free around the map!
