Players will need to find Weapon-O-Matics to complete a Season 8 Punch Card challenge and get stronger weapons in Fortnite Season 8. Punch Cards are a new weekly quest mechanic reintroduced in Fortnite Season 8. These Punch Cards include random tasks for players to complete to earn XP toward leveling up their Battle Pass. An offshoot of the Punch Card system is the Character Quests, in which a variety of NPCs around the map give players challenges to complete. One character Punch Card features a challenge that requires players to use a Weapon-O-Matic vending machine. To get started, players must find this NPC on the map.

Purchasing a weapon from a Weapon-O-Matic is a part of the Hot Dog questline for The Brat in Fortnite Season 8. Players will first need to find The Brat to pick up the Punch Card and begin the quests. Fortunately, Fortnite makes it easier than ever before to find the NPCs. In the Quest tab, players can select The Brat from a long list of Character Quests. This will pin his exact location on the map, which is located to the north of Lazy Lake nearby a fast food cart.

Players must complete the following quests on The Brat’s Punch Card:

  • Open a cash register: 12k XP.
  • Destroy three couches or beds: 14k XP.
  • Complete a quest from another character: 16k XP.
  • Purchase a weapon of rare rarity or higher from a character or Weapon-O-Matic: 18k XP.
  • Damage opponents with weapons of Rare rarity or higher: 20k XP.

After completing the first three quests for The Brat, players will be tasked with purchasing a rare weapon from a character or shopping at a Weapon-O-Matic. These are vending machines scattered around the map that will dispense a weapon of a random rarity for gold.

Every Weapon-O-Matic Location in Fortnite Season 8

The map above was created by fortnite.gg and features the location of every Weapon-O-Matic in Fortnite Season 8. To complete The Brat’s challenge, players should land in one of these locations and use the machine once they have enough gold saved. Players can earn more gold by opening treasure chests, safes, and cash registers, and by stealing it from enemies.

The best places to land for this challenge will either be in Weeping Woods, since the location features two Weapon-O-Matic machines, or in Slurpy Swamp, where players can find three. This way, if one machine fails to dispense a rare weapon, players can try their luck at a different machine.

Completing this challenge will unlock the final The Brat challenge, which requires players to damage opponents with rarer weapons, which can include the one they received from the Weapon-O-Matic. However, the easiest place to complete that challenge will be in Team Rumble Mode. Fortunately, all Character challenges carry over regardless of what game mode the player is playing in, and players do not need to complete all five challenges in a single match.
