Fortnite: Where to Find IO Chests at Satellite Stations & Corny Complex

A week 5 challenge requires players to find an IO Chest located in either Corny Complex or the satellite station in Fortnite. This guide will show players how they can complete this challenge. Fortnite continues to drive its plot forward as new epic and legendary challenges are introduced to the players. Facing off against this alien invasion, players will travel across the dangerous battlefield to take down IO Guards, trespassers, and other players. For those looking to max out their battle pass before the end of the season, weekly challenges are the best way to get that down. Players will be able to earn battle stars that they can use to purchase specific cosmetics of their choice. Upon completing this weekly challenge, players will be rewarded with 30,000 XP. This guide will show players where they can find an IO Chest in either of these two locations.

Satellite stations can be found in a wide variety of locations on the map. When loading into the map, players will be able to find these buildings with a bright red light from the battle bus. These are the satellite stations and they are crawling with IO Guards. These AI can be dangerous to battle against, especially at the start of the match when players don’t have weapons or shields. Here’s how players can complete this epic challenge.

Where to Find IO Chests at Satellite Stations or Corny Complex in Fortnite

IO Chests only have the chance of making an appearance within either the satellite stations or at Corny Complex. Since Corny Complex has been made their main HQ, players can head over there to also find an IO Chest. From experience, the best thing to do would be to head to one of the stations located far away from the path of the battle bus. This will make it much easier to deal with the enemies without running into other players. Other players are easily the most difficult part of completing this challenge.

Once inside, explore every floor and take down the IO Guards if needed. The IO Chest functions a bit differently and comes along with some powerful alien loot. For this challenge, players will only need to collect 1 of them between these two locations. Players can head to the station to the southeast of Corny Complex for the highest chance of running into an IO Chest. Complete this challenge and earn that XP.
