He is an immensely popular celebrity, with nearly 150 million Instagram followers and 53 million Twitter followers. According to Polygon, Epic has announced a release date for Neymar Jr.’s skin. Players can begin completing challenges to unlock the brand-new skin beginning on April 27. The skin will feature much more than just the soccer player and his dazzling footwork; Neymar Jr. can also be transformed into a mechanical jaguar. The latest skin is part of Fortnite‘s season 6 battle pass. In order to unlock it, players must complete at least five challenges, which will become available when the skin is live. Epic announced that soccer players will be located around the island, and this is where players must go to access the quests. An additional skin will be launched alongside the base skin; it will be branded with the Brazilian National Team’s iconic colors of yellow, green and blue. The Paris St. Germain star’s Fortnite skin will also mark the release of new cosmetic items such as the Jaguar Strike Pickaxe and the Aerial Acrobat Glider. The Brazilian celebrity confirmed the news by posting a video on his official Twitter account.

Season 6 has continued Fortnite‘s tradition of offering fans groundbreaking crossovers and consistently adding new content. The fan reception has been warm, particularly for Batman‘s crossover. There is always an inherent risk involved when merging two seemingly unrelated genres together. The romance between Batman and Catwoman is quickly becoming a fan favorite as the multi-part series continues to evolve. Despite being a crossover, the  Zero Point #1 series is canon, which should be encouraging for fans of both properties who are enjoying watching them combine.
